"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this unique property in a stunning location. Christian and Jocelyne were fantastic hosts, attentive and friendly without being intrusive. The house is an innovative, green build and how we should all be building houses these days. The composting toilet was a different experience for us - almost seems strange to flush now! We would love to visit again."

"The house is NOT appropriate for winter rental letting. The main room's only heating system is the old fashionned fire place. The house is not insulated at all. There are gaps around the doors which we tried to block with our sleeping bags; there was no functionning heaters in any of the bedrooms. The first two nights stay the thermometer registered 8 degrees! The manager, Wendy Williams, promptly brought extra wood and elelctrical heaters. Unfortunately, the heaters tripped the electrical...

"The villa was exactly as described, there was amble room for everyone. The villa was very comfortable. The surrounding area was very quiet with a cycle/walking path a few minutes away. It was only a 5 min drive into Parthenary town and the same distance for a supermarket. We did have an issue with the drainage, but I sent a text and a telephone call from the owner had a plumber sent out the next day who resolved the problem. Thank you Google translator. We had a lovely break, but it was a shame...

"A 30 min du puy du fou . Nous étions en pleine campagne. Les enfants ont profité de la piscine . L'eau était froide .. mais ils ont joué un peu dans l'eau en profitant d'une éclaircie. "The property is lovely unfortunately not really appropriate for our 3 year old. The gate to the swimming pool didn't work properly and he could let himself in and out. The owner told us his dogs need to be carefully watched around children. The owners are around constantly (they are nice but intrusive). The car entrance opens on to a major road and is right next to the play area which means the children can't safely be left in the playground area."

The accommodation was very large and perfect for our big group, the grounds were beautiful and the children loved the outside space. We would not hesitate to stay here again. "We were on a cycling trip. Check in was easy and the staff very helpful in locking away our bikes in a secure location. The beds were very comfortable and showers hot!
