If you want a cost-effective, no-frills place to stay at that has breakfast and a communal hot tub to relax in, I don’t think any other place else comes close. Even if it’s on the outskirts of the city, access to nearby train stations makes in-town trips easy. "

"I really enjoyed my stay at Joyfultel hotel! The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood and there is a 7-11 and a local restaurant (永和) steps away. I checked in the hotel late at night so it was nice to be able to get some late night snacks at 永和. The hotel is unfortunately a bit further away from the subway station and takes about 15 mins to walk to and from the hotel. The staff here were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. On the day of my checkout, my luggage was accidentally being taken away by another group of tourists and the front desk was quickly able to contact the cab driver and resolved the problem. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. I will definitely come back and stay with joyfultel again. "

"Quality of the room was as expected for the price. Was disappointed to find cockroaches in the bathroom, but it’s a shared building and I know that can’t be avoided. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly for the stay, they addressed all of our needs without question."
