"What a magical lakehouse! We couldn’t call it a cottage as it is far too nice for that. When we arrived we marvelled at the size and comfort of the space. It was too bad the dock was broken from a tree falling earlier in the week since I was most looking forward to it, it would have been nice to receive advanced notice but I understand nature happens. "The overall cleanliness of the cottage was disappointing . The place needs a deep clean and has an ant problem. There was a questionable stain on the bunkbed which lead us to believe the sheets weren’t swapped before we arrived. The dock has a motor running 24/7 (assuming to keep the water clear) so don’t bet on a quiet morning coffee out on the water. The communication was frustrating at times.
