Cozy top of the mountain retreat at 7Springs Resort

3 Bedrooms / 3.5 Baths / Sleeps 8 / 100 feet from the top of Southwind Lift!

THE LOCATION: Welcome to the top of the mountain and the top of Southwind! The townhome is located in the gated Southwind community. For skiers and snowboarders, access trails lead from the townhome directly into 7Springs. When you return, the front door is only steps from the top of Southwind lift. Both the North Face and Polar Bear Express lifts are also a quick walk down Lakeside Trail. Please refer to the 7Springs website for current trail and lift status. This 4 season destination also has access to more than just the slopes. During the warmer months, sporting clays, hiking, mountain biking, and other activities are all easily accessed from the community. During the summer, walk across the street and rent a paddle boat for a cruise on Lake Tahoe. You can also enjoy the mountain views from the community pool and hot tub located at the rec center. It’s a short walk just past the lift on Lakeside Trail.

THE RESORT: The 7Springs main lodge at the bottom of the mountain is a quick drive, ski, or a shuttle trip away. Tubing, swimming, bowling, and dining are all available. Special seasonal events are also held year-round. The resort also provides free shuttle service. Information about the shuttle and activities is available at 800-452-2223.

THE PROPERTY: This cozy retreat features 3 bedrooms with 4 beds that sleep up to 8 guests. 2 master bedrooms include private full bathrooms. Linens and towels are provided for all guests and a washer/dryer are available for use. Bring some competition down to the game room on the first floor, or relax in the hot tub on the back deck. Store skis and gear in the garage and then put your feet up by the fire in the family room. Off street parking is available and for extra cars there are marked parking spots located along the roads around the community.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Check-Out is 10:00am. Take out all trash to a community dumpster. The dumpster lids need to be completely sealed when closed. If full, please use another dumpster located within the community.
Please load dishes and utensils into dishwasher and start it. Please return large items that need to be washed by hand to their cabinets. Place used linens and towels near washing machine.
Set temp to 78 in the summer and 65 in the winter. Clean Grill and turn off gas. Set hot tub to 98 degrees, turn off jets, replace cover. Hang Rec Center fob on hook. Lost fob is $50.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Rules

The HOA will levy fines when rules are not followed, and all fines will become the responsibility of the renting party.
Quiet hours will be enforced after 10:00pm. Please respect the comfort of all owners and guests in the community.
Please ONLY park 1 car in the townhouse's side (RIGHT side) of the shared driveway. Extra cars can park only in marked spaces along the roadways.

Great location and a very clean place! For those with younger children, a few nice to haves would be additional sleeping like a king size bed or pullout couch in the two masters and some basic toys like blocks.

Amazing stay and location!

This home is beautiful, super clean and great proximity to the mountain! We stayed in the off season, but I imagine during ski season it’s the neighborhood to be in! It was a really nice home, super clean and great for families. The views around the neighborhood were beautiful and ideal for walks with the strollers. Would absolutely recommend or stay again - Matt was extremely responsive and kind!

A beautiful place! Super close to the chairlift.

We had a wonderful weekend stay. The house was clean and spacious. The beds were very comfy! The hot tub was hot and clean and worked great. Just steps to the chair lift! We hope to stay again next year.

February Ski Trip

Amazing host, wonderful property and great location. Matt was extremely responsive and helpful with all our questions, the house was very clean and the hot tub was immaculate which is not always the case with rentals. The Southwind lift was closed making logistics a little more cumbersome, but if it was running - it is less than 100 feet to the slope and lift. Will definately come again!

Fall Fun!

Southwinds at 7Springs is a beautiful place to stay in the fall. A short walk to the top of the hill where the ski lift is located was perfect to see the fall leaves. The polar bear express lift took us from the Resort Autumnfest right back to the townhouse. Townhouse was clean and comfortable for our family of 4.

Fantastic Ski In / Ski Out on Top of Mountain

Cannot beat the location or the property for a ski trip to 7 Springs. Access to the property was extremely simple from getting into/around the Southwind community to being able to drop onto the slopes a few steps out of the front door. Kitchen was very well stocked for meals when taking a break from the slopes. Definitely a property worthy of a repeat stay!

Magnificent fall retreat

Even though “Mother Nature “ didn’t cooperate our accommodations certainly did. Beautiful location, the leaves were absolutely beautiful (even through the rain). We got out of the weather and entered a lovely, cozy, and warm townhouse. I highly recommend this location.
