Excellent location. Excellent value for money. The best 2 bartenders in the world (shoutout to George and Freddie for the exceptional service and sharing yoir drink making artistry!). Nice to be able to book a private 30 min hot tub (would be great if it was a touch hotter and a little less bubbly!) the themed dinner nights were excellent and the food very good. We opted for the half board which was excellent value (even considering we opted for one night out at Les Coursives in Meribel village which was the best French food I’ve ever tasted!).
Suggest a kettle in the dining room for those of us who like scalding hot tea :)
The rooms were big and the beds comfy. Our room had carpet which I personally hate. The lounge was kitschy and cool and had just the right feel before and apres ski. Loved the combo of old charm and low tech with all you need for a delightful stay and this quirky spot. Would definitely come back.

This is a high quality hotel, with swimming pool, view on the 2 major lifts in Val d'Isere, 50m away from each of these major cabins lifts, easy to climb in the summer to the top, the service in the hotel is high, breakfast is typical french with the best French croissants ever.

I would advice any visitor who have back issues to stay away from this property since the beds are pretty precarious. Our bed was very soft and bounce and the mattress springs could be felt in your body and face when laying down.
Everuthing else is as spected. Great location for ski in-out.

We stayed here for one night, to break up our journey from Bourne to Calais, and it was comfortable, clean and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately the restaurant wasn't open, however the hotel is close to Semur-en-Axios centre.

This hotel worked for us in that it was roughly halfway on our journey to the south of France. The staff were very friendly and helpful on check-in. When we walked in the bed was unmade.. which made me question if it was changed at all after previous guests.. when we moved bed cover there was someone’s t-shirt… NO towels at all, no fridge/coffee/microwave (just be aware) and AC made a huge puddle on the floor only after several hours running. ...
