The music from the wedding was extremely loud and continued well past 2 a.m. This was our last night in Réunion, and it wasn’t the relaxing evening we had hoped for. The hotel should have informed us in advance about the event and the restaurant closure, so we could have made an informed decision. The owner kindly reached out to us directly to apologize and offered to have a meal prepared, but by then we had already bought some basics at the local grocery store. I'm sure this was an isolated incident and that the hotel is usually quite comfortable, but I felt it was important to share our experience as this could have been avoided. "

"we were very happy in this hotel. Staff was nice and friendly. Breakfast tasty even for us - vegans/vegetarians, we especially liked the fried beans and daily potatoes in skin. Centraly located in downtown St. Denis just a few steps away from the ocean. Free drinks at the lobby were very much appreciated. Would love to come back ane day."

"Situated on a hilltop, the accommodation has an overlooked of downtown St. Denis. Catherine and Philip were such amazing hosts! Very accomodating and helpful. The location is perfect if yoy prefer peaceful and quiet for relaxation. The bus stop is is nearby so if you want to go downtown you can just jump into the 12 line. I very much recommend L'escapade Bellepierre, would live to stay there again when i visit the island next time."

"The shower was good, the bed really uncomfortable, and the coffee for breakfast the worst I've had in my whole life. The person giving me that breakfast seemed annoyed that I didn't know where the breakfast area was and that I asked for milk for the coffee.
