"De accommodatie ziet er goed uit op de foto’s, maar in werkelijkheid is er een groot verschil tussen de kamers. In onze kamer liepen een hoop mieren toen we binnen kwamen en het bed was erg krakkemikkig. Het padelcourt is een leuke toevoeging, maar daar blijft het wel bij. Geen mogelijkheid om ter plekke te eten en alle andere eetgelegenheden moet je eigenlijk met een scooter of auto doen. Overall het geld helaas niet waard. "

"Sehr schönes Gelände mit viel Grün und Bäumen, man fühlt sich wie in einer Oase. Die Bungalows sind gut verteilt und bieten Privatsphäre. Der Pool ist ein Plus wenn gerade Ebbe ist und das Meer zu flach zum Schwimmen. Der Strand ist direkt um die Ecke und ein absoluter Traum, es gibt viel Schatten, feinsten Sand und ein nettes Restaurant, sodass man gar nicht weg muss.

"Wow this place is just as amazing as show in pictures- the rooms are spectacular and so affordable. Good restaurants around and perfect for post full moon party recovery. We came here to take a break from the party and it didnt disappoint. The staff is so helpful and we did laundry here. They helped us rent a motorbike too. The room was clean, the beds were so comfortable and the AC was excellent. They had a fridge, safe, robes and the pool was cleaned daily. Wifi worked great too!"

"Angenehme und ruhige Anlage, jedoch ohne Strand. Man kann zwar über ganz kleine Sandabschnitte ins Wasser, das ist aber nur knietief. Ansonsten gibt es nur Felsen als Kai gebaut um das Areal zu schützen. Es gab keine Zimmerreinigung, das Frühstück kann man sich klemmen und es gab auch kein gratis Mineralwasser, obwohl angegeben. Insgesamt sind die Bungalows alt, nie instand gesetzt und somit viel zu teuer für Thailand."

"The wooden huts are pretty and well situated on a very quiet and beautiful beach.
The place was generally clean but could do with some renovation, and some furniture to put stuff on (no bedside table, we had to put the kettle on the bed headboard to boil as cord was too sort to put anywhere else)
However the place is good value for money.
Don’t expect to have any help from the staff who didn’t understand much at all, and any question asked seem to bother them."

"I rented the least expensive bungalow. It had a nice view of the ocean but the private beach was terrific. Picture perfect; though it was shallow. Staff was very friendly and always wore a smile. What I didn't like was the needless long walk to the bridge to get on the beach. Easier access would be helpful and as simple as cutting away some undergrowth. All in all, it was good to stay at the Phangan Bungalows. Will be back someday. "

"Sadly one of the worst places I've stayed at. Dirty, worn rooms with cobwebs. The staff were friendly but that didn't help. The address was wrong as well, not by many meters but enough that you have to take a very different route to the hotel. There is nothing close to the hotel, you need a vehicle or you're stuck. On the positive side they had their own beach. There is a lot of loud boat traffic close to the rooms."
