"We stay there 2 to 3 times a year. We love everything about it. Just name it, and it's excellent. The only thing that may be less than excellent is the bed height—a little too tall for my elderly mother. We'll kind of for me too, since I'm a short guy. But that's our issue. We love the place. We will continue going there."

"This place is rundown and dirty. Stained carpet and furniture. Spider webs everywhere and the wood on the balcony is eaten up. Microwave has got to be 30 years old and the rooms smell. The office even smells musty. Water preasure in the shower is awful. Absolutely awful ! Especially for over $200 a night!! "

"The hotel was lovely, however our room was not ready for us upon check in. We were given our keys and we went up to the room to find it was still in the process of being cleaned. There was another couple there who encountered this problem as well. We waited in the lobby a half hour for our room to be ready. "

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent four rainy days in the central coast and Ha Hoku Ranch wound up being a very nice place to call home for those days. The property is well maintained and very clean with a large, well appointed kitchen. The deep soaking tub in the primary bathroom provided a relaxing way to end the day however I don't know how an older person could easily navigate getting in and out of it due to its depth. The sofa in the living room is not very comfortable but we fortunately were not home much to use it often. The property does have a water softener but I don't know if the water is extremely hard to the point where the softener is only partially effective as the water was still hard. The Saatva mattress in the primary bedroom was comfortable and provided good back support. We have an EV and my husband had to travel several miles north of the property every evening to charge our car; it would have been quite beneficial to have access to the car charger on this property (perhaps one placed on the outside wall of the garage for renter use?)."
