"Our family booked two nights with this hotel after spending four nights at two other Fletcher hotels in the Netherlands, and we were VERY disappointed! We arrived to a room that was SIGNIFICANTLY different than the one displayed on EXPEDIA’s site. When we asked for another room or our money back to use at another hotel, our request was denied and we were offered complimentary drinks. Being that it was after 7pm, and we had been on the road all day, we had no option but to stay in this horrible room. They were kind enough to provide an adequate room for the second night, however, they refused to refund us the full amount for the first night, and rather offered us a €40 partial refund. We have spent thousands of dollars over the years with Expedia and sadly, we will no longer be able to use their services after they did not provide the support we needed in this instance. We will also be avoiding the Fletcher family hotels going forward as well. This experience spoiled our last nights in Europe, and we were hoping this could have been dealt with in a more fair manner."

"Hotel Bastion is a comfortable hotel within easy walking distance of Tilburg town centre. The friendly staff were welcoming and very helpful. Overall Bastion is ideal for a weekend break exploring the Tilburg area."

"Beautiful hotel located in a park with an easy walk to central Eindhoven. The desk staff were particularly helpful sorting out an issue with the automated parking machine saving a lot of inconvenience and a potentially expensive parking ticket. The food is excellent."

"The breakfast was absolutely amazing. The hotel also let you pack a lunch from the breakfast layout, which helped a lot with saving money when visiting Efteling as well as when traveling the next day. The choices at breakfast were so good! The room was quiet and we had everything we needed. We slept well and we were grateful for such a nice place to come back to after the 2 very long days. It was also super close to an Albert Heijn store which made it very convenient. The rooms did not have refrigerators. The staff were exceptionally helpful and carried the luggage upstairs and back down at the end of our stay. They had great ideas for places to eat and places to get what we needed. I would definitely stay here again."

"I booked a standard room online. But when I checked in, I switched to a junior suite. It was in fact just like a deluxe double room in Asian hotel standard. The shower room was rather basic and the toilet has an aweful smell all the time. It's not a clean enough room. The breakfast was terribly expensive, booked online @€18.5, but my friend who did not book online has to pay €24. It's not worth it, the cheese slices were dry, only one kind of cold cut ham, without any fish."
