"This was an amazing find! The room was spacious with a separate dressing area and huge bathroom and spotlessly clean. The staff of this family-run hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. The fix-priced menu for dinner was excellent and inexpensive and breakfast was brilliant with scrambled eggs made to order and a wide selection of savoury and sweet items. "OK, this is highly biased, but we love this place and the couple who operate it; we returned this year after staying here in 2018. It was like coming home. "Fantastic location with incredible lake views We had a private room with its own bathroom, and the views from the window overlooking the lake were simply amazing. You couldn’t ask for a better location! Basic accommodation so don’t expect anything else - but clean and functional. The hostel had a relaxed atmosphere, with most of the other guests being middle-aged couples. It was also dog friendly, which was a real bonus. The breakfast was brilliant and a great way to start the day. Overall, a wonderful stay in a stunning location. We would happily recommend it to anyone looking for beautiful views, a welcoming atmosphere and a great breakfast."
