"The description of the hotel on Expedia DID NOT SAY IT IS SO FAR OUT OF TOWN THAT TAXIS WONT EVEN COME HERE. This place is like Hotel California you can check in but u can never leave. It was like a prison. Leaving to go anywhere is an ordeal that requires finding a taxi long in advance. How this place doesn't offer a car service is ridiculous. It takes 45 mins to get into town. "Rooms are quaint and comfortable, though housekeeping could be improved. The supply of towels and tea can be a bit inconsistent and may need to be requested. On the positive side, the staff are friendly and quick to address any concerns. The food is good, with a nice variety available on the restaurant menu. A real highlight is the 360 view of the city of Yaoundé from the 11th floor—an excellent spot with great ambience to relax and take in the scenery."
