"The Good: we were able to bring our small dog (20 lb); there are two convenient eating options – a sit down dinner restaurant attached to the Inn and a smaller more casual place called the Patio a short walk away which has a larger draft beer list and WONDERFUL pizza, both places had outdoor seating options and were reasonably priced for good food; incredible views from our room and around the Inn of part of the beautiful rock formations in the park; Visitor Center for the national park is only 10 miles up the road. The Bad: the dog fee was an additional $30 per night, much higher than any place we’ve ever stayed; for nearly $200 per night for the very small room we expected to find at least a small refrigerator in the room, but there was none; the bed mattress was very soft and we could feel the springs; the toilet/shower area was in bad shape, with an old stained linoleum floor torn and curling near the shower."

"We loved staying at the Broken Spur. The room was very spacious and the bed super comfortable. The rustic but very nice decor gave a fun and relaxing ambiance right down to the smallest detail. The dinner we ate at the restaurant was unforgettable. Absolutely delicious! We’re still dreaming about the delicious steak we ate. The complimentary the breakfast the next morning was just as amazing. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!"

"Very cute air bnb style stay. Close to parks. Clean and comfortable. Accommodated early check in. We stayed in the off season which made it feel very remote and most local places were closed, but it was a lovely little stay while passing through on a parks road trip."
