The hotel is right beside the central railway station and so ideal as a base for exploring. We arrived at the start of a heatwave and clearly none of the hotels in Norway are equipped to handle these conditions. Consequently the room was uncomfortably hot. This was not really the fault of the hotel and in all other respects the facilities and service were excellent

"Variety of food at 3:30 am breakfast buffet was excellent. It only lacked warmed items like eggs. We had an early plane to catch and we were impressed! The rooms were clean and basic but also very quiet and had very good darkening curtains."
