"5th stay over 18yrs and this place is a gem. Location on the river is ideal. Could hang and relax for a couple days, throw in some fishing and exploring a couple more. Cookies are always great at nite. Breakfast and coffee are good, not gourmet. Rooms nice. Price accommodating. Will be back for sure."

"Nice basic accommodations in a good location, and for a decent price. The breakfast was very limited but is going away entirely. No fitness center but the pool and hot tub were nice. No elevator to second story. Stairs up to second floor were very dirty. However our room was large and clean. Inadequate lighting for reading. But we still enjoyed our stay. Strongly recommend restaurant Grover's next door to the north."

"The Cabin was amazing, accommodating and access to the lake front beach was about as good as you could get. It was extremely close to downtown and Ponderosa State Park trails. The only issue was the neighbor's property was extremely close and the neighbors had motion-activated strobe/high pitched sound devices (with no trespassing signs) that were feet from the property's deck and prevented us from spending any time out there. Any motion on our deck tripped the devices to flash strobes and high pitched noise at us. If I were to book this property in the future I would want to ensure the devices would be disabled when you stay there. It was quite unpleasant anytime we were on the deck. Other than that, the property was fantastic."
