"Good stay overall, the only serious issue was the size of the bathroom, it was so small that the door couldn’t fully open without hitting the toilet. It was honestly really awkward to get in and out of the bathroom. Also there was only one chair in the room, which was kind of annoying. But the staff were nice and the room was clean and close to the train."

"Our stay at the Wilderness Lodge was comfortable, Sanctuary view from our room was good. Staff were friendly and helpful 🙂 to us Zoo food is rather pricey, including the Me-Gal Restaurant , we wouldn't rate it fine dining, no dress code either, with guests wearing hats at night? It's certainly a one off experience, but don't think we'd do it again."

"The Hotel is Beautifully restored. I especially loved the old lift !! The staff where amazing and the food was yum yum yum !!! The room was perfect at a great price. Just some small things - the Big TV (which was great - most places have ridiculously small tvs) was up next to the roof and in a small single room its just pointing to the other side of the roof instead of tilting down. And there where 2 small brown cockroachs that I killed. Otherwise an amazing stay that I will tell others about and will stay again."

"We only had a two night stay but it was excellent. The hotel staff were so friendly so welcoming the second we walked in the door to check in Checking and checkout was very quick very professional Nice room and toiletries. Great location down the road you have a huge shopping complex and behind that is the Metro stop of Macquarie University very walkable. It’s only about a 5 to 7 minute walk to the shops and another 7 to 10 to the train station Certainly would stay again at Holiday inn express next time we visit Sydney. Great breakfast excellent staff and a nice lobby."
