Wonderfully quiet and peaceful time in a cabin just right for two. Hiking, swimming, boating steps away and summer fun activities in local area - fairs, auctions. Gracious and responsive hosts!
The property looked just like it did in the pictures. The hosts were attentive) even though I didn't actually meet them. They had the property well stocked with kitchen items like silverware, plates, etc. Also had various spices and some condiments in the fridge.I thought the TV remote was broken or needed batteries when I was laying on the couch to watch TV, but as soon as I put my arm up high enough it worked fine.Bed was comfortable, plenty of room in the closet for clothes.Location was good, a little bit off the beaten path.
Wonderful!! The silence was perfect and restorative.
Yes, true to the description, the cabin was small - maybe compared to a house - but was a perfect size for two (who are used to NYC apartments). It had a well equipped kitchen, and TV and AC - neither of which we used - and interesting books and puzzles for rainy days. Information about things to do and places to go in the surrounding area was very helpful. Pond was clear and refreshing with loons in evidence and canoe at the ready. Our friendly Host was very quick to address a rare mechanical problem and kindly made up for our inconvenience.

Good…but
Tiny house as advertised. A little shabby and not that clean. Kitchen and bathroom were clean and sheets were good quality. Bed was comfortable. It was the mouse traps and the rodent noise plug ins that were a little off putting. Never saw any signs at all during stay.
Michael was great. Greeted us when we arrived and was very gracious.
Also had to truck our garbage to recycling site where we discovered we were going to have to “sort” it? No mention of sorting from the info sheet.
It was central to everything we wanted to do, golfing, hiking(right outside our driveway) the beach and shopping.
It was unseasonably hot 31 degrees every day, so with no cooling system “at home” it was sometimes, with dread that we knew we had to return to the Tiny house. A deck outside the sliding glass doors and around the front would have given better options for outdoor seating and the ability to get some shade without sitting almost in “driveway”
We enjoyed our time in the area but will book again, unfortunately.
This property was quiet and cozy, supplied well for a week's stay, and ready communication with the owner with any questions or concerns. It was exactly the respite I was looking for.
Was in town for the week working in the area. Cabin was very comfortable and in a beautiful location. Michael was easy to talk to and a wealth of information on the local area. Will definitely stay here again.
This was my 2nd time staying here and I love it. It's cozy, warm, and comfortable. My favorite part is the view. There are trees and fields to see from every window. The floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors and numerous windows bring a feeling of connection to nature.
The kitchen is well-equipped and the bed is comfortable. The comforter is perfect for chilly evenings. I found everything very clean during both of my stays.
There are plenty of activities nearby, including golfing, hiking, canoeing, and shopping. Michael is an excellent host, warm and welcoming. He's knowledgeable about the area and can make recommendations if you need ideas.
The quiet and beauty of this area are not to be missed. I will definitely stay here again.
The location on the field edge provides a tranquil view both during the day and night. The tiny house is comfy and cozy. The recent addition of an air conditioner brought relief during the day or two of humidity we encountered. Otherwise, the cross breeze cooled and aired out the cabin perfectly. Michael went out of his way to settle in and make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Will not hesitate to return if the opportunity arises.
This cute and very comfortable tiny house cabin is on a quiet, private property less than a block from a trailhead for several great hiking trails, with dozens of other trails within a few miles. Our hosts were wonderful, nearby but not too close.
This property is a true gem. Although billed as a "tiny house" it certainly doesn't feel small. The main living space has a cathedral ceiling and windows, nearly floor to ceiling, that bring the outside in. Although other houses are nearby, you neither see nor hear them. Instead, you have a view of fields and trees that brings you right into nature (including views of turkeys, foxes, hummingbirds, and butterflies)!
The kitchen is well-equipped, the TV works well, and the bed is comfortable. The bedroom has enough closet and drawer space to easily accommodate two people. (Although a word to the wise, the ceiling is lower in the bedroom and would be a tough squeeze for anyone over 6 foot 4.)
The lake is lovely and only a short walk from the cabin. A canoe, life jackets, beach towels, and chairs are all provided. Hiking trails begin, literally, just outside the door and the Greater Lovell Land Trust has many other wonderful hiking options in the area.
Finally, the owner is helpful and very responsive from the time of booking throughout your stay. This cabin is truly a wonderful getaway.
