"We found the front desk personnel to be very friendly and helpful. Appreciate they are a pet friendly hotel. The room was clean and for the most part quiet. Good selection of breakfast items that suited our needs. Would stay here again if we’re ever in the area. "

Renovated Escape in Mountain Resort. Lake, Pool, Kayak, Family and Pet Friendly!
10/10 Excellent
"The house was beautiful, very true to the pictures. We had lots of fun and Jesse was always available. Will recommend this property 100000% "
"Absolutely the best host I've had the pleasure of communicating with in all our stays!Very responsive and communicative! The cabin was exactly as described, with many extra appliances and amenities. The decor was amazing, with many little attentions to detail that made our stay comfortable and cozy. The location was great for our two grandchildren to enjoy and the pool was fantastic.A great vacation get-away!"
"The good and the bad! The good…the hosts were very responsive and thoughtful. Very accommodating! The house is plenty spacious, has plenty of room inside and out. The game room is super fun and kept my kids entertained! The community itself is very private and quiet, we paid to get the community passes to enjoy the lake and the pool and both were very nice. We had a great trip! The bad, the house could use some updating and care. There was a funky smell, and the lighting isn’t great and we had some issues with certain rooms even finding a light that worked. It felt a little worn down and could use some simple updates to make it feel more comfortable. We couldn’t get the foosball table to turn on to light up or keep score, no big deal, but goes with my suggestion of some upkeep. Had a nice stay, but probably wouldn’t stay there again, would try a new place. "
Woodsy A-Frame in Pocono Mountain Resort, Family and Pet Friendly!
10/10 Excellent
"We had a relaxing stay at this VRBO. Big Bass Lake had terrific amenities and the setting was perfect for a getaway. The house was clean and it was so convenient to have a bathroom next to each bedroom, each with a shower! The kids enjoyed the books and toys. Kitchen was good for cooking a few small meals, and we also enjoyed eating from Passing the Thyme and Lombardi’s."
"This listing is a scam. They list WIFI (there was none), heating, and a kitchen with an oven and stove. Well were we surprised to find: 1) AC worked but heating was broken. My family near froze to death. The property owner was obviously aware of the problem because when we arrived they had set out a few space heaters. Well, when we tried to use more than one at a time the power went out. To make matters worse, the fuse box for the property is attached to another property. As you can image it took a long time to get the power back on. 2) The stove and oven were not functional. The property owner was also clearly aware of this because they left a two burner hot plate on the stove. Best of all, the hot plate wasn't even functional!3) The front door doesn't lock. Completely broken. We asked the property owner for help and they never did anything, never sent anyone. We ended up having to pack our belongings back in our cars to go hiking during the day. 4) Despite being advertised for 6 people, the toilet can only flush once, max twice per hour. Discovered this the hard way after one of us went number two and had to leave it there for over an hour. 5) The entire unit has a really bad moisture problem because all the window panes are rotting and the windows are literally falling out of the walls. Three of the windows are permanently open. 6) we discovered on the day we left that we had been sleeping on mold and filth. -1000 stars. SCAM"
Cozy Tiny Woodland Escape: Hot Tub, Fire Pit, Lakes
8/10 Good
"Loved the hot tub! No neighbors at all home.Deer came down and rooted around at night and we got to watch. Everything clean, nice and well maintained."
"The place was clean upon arrival. There were somebody else’s socks left outside but no biggie. I was hoping there would be a blender but there wasn’t but again no biggie! Everything worked, the TVs, the AC, the hot tub etc. And the kids had a blast in the game room. So over all it was a great family trip! Would definitely stay here again! "
"1. Game room and movie room were awesome! We all enjoyed spending time there.2. Communication with Charles was quick and easy. 3. Water pressure was a little low upstairs. 4. Recommendation: Provide sufficient quantity of toilet paper and ensure that each bathroom has body wash, shampoo and a hairdryer. We enjoyed our stay! "
