"A totally off the beaten path mountaintop retreat in a quaint village. The surrounding area is quite stunning. Nothing but lush agriculture and nature on very steep hills with views. There is a rustic ristorante in town with pretty good if not gourmet food, inexpensive beer and wine and plenty of good cheer from the other guests of all ages. If you are up for something different, make the slow windy drive here and you should be delighted."

"We enjoyed our stay and felt like we were in the heart of the city. The rooms were very comfortable and we had access to a kitchen. Only negative was there was no breakfast available on Saturday or Sunday but there was a cafe in the plaza that served excellent coffe and croissants at a very affordable cost. "

"The rooms were good size, cleaned daily. Easily walkable from the train station (blocks away). Has a pool but you have to book time and pay per person. You cannot swim on your check out day. The hotel desk-clerk, Alex, went above and beyond. I was having trouble with my train tickets, he let us store our luggage and stay in the lobby area to figure things out using the wifi. He then offered to drive us to the station with our luggage after his shift was over and made sure we found the right...
