Staff was friendly and accommodating. We called a few days before to tell them we couldn't make it on our first night but we would be there. The staff person noted it, but when we got there, our room was canceled even though they could see the note. They made it right immediately and there was no problem. Everything was great.

Very disappointed!!! I realize it is difficult to find staff who want to work. They just want to stand by their carts with their faces buried in their phones or stand around in a group and talk derogatorily about other co-workers. That is no excuse for the lack of cleanliness I encountered in my room. The night stands and lamps were covered with dust, the floor in the bathroom was filthy and the shower was gross!!! My light colored socks were even black from walking around my room for the evening. I was also surprised at the lack of quiet. There was hall noise, outside noise and above level noise. Crying babies, slamming doors and noisy traffic outside was what I heard most of the night. No built-in sound barriers at all. I was there to celebrate my son’s graduation from college. The hotel was totally booked and there was no chance of a different room. I will NEVER stay at the establishment again and will not recommend it to others.

There were two staff at the reception counter when we checked in. Connor was friendly and welcomed us. The other staff member, unfortunately we did not get her name, did not look up to acknowledge our party of seven, she just sat on the stool with her leg on the footrest looking at a cellphone; very unhospitable if you are in the tourism and hospitality business. If training was provided, may be a refresher course could be beneficial to her on guest reception. We had three rooms. In room 408, one of the sheer curtain was torn. The room was dusty. Walls and ceilings can be wiped down using a dry mop, or better yet, a Swiffer dry mop. The room also was labeled accessible or handicapped. A recommendation, a handrail on the outside of the bath tub be put in place, to hold onto when getting into and out of the tub. It was great that there is a handrail in the tub. For all three rooms, the windows are big enough to enjoy the view. The mountain view is spectacular! The hotel is in a location that is close to restaurants and shopping. Love that it is also close to national parks. The young adults were able to go on day trips to Zion and Bryce Cannon. There are other places of interest in the area but not enough time to get to all of them, maybe another visit might allow us to see them. One recommendation, change up the breakfast. Change the waffle batter, there are more flavors than original. Eggs can be made other ways not just scrambled. Oatmeal toppings were good.

There were 2 elevators. One was marked out of order. The 2nd did not work to go up, only down. Staff insisted it worked. Really good hot breakfast but coffee machine was marked out of order. Room was nice, bed was great. Except for elevator, this would have been a 4 star review.

I have often sought out LaQuinta’s because they have always been well maintained, at a good price, good locations and pet friendly. Tonight I checked in and was very disappointed to find out the new policy is to charge $25 more for my dog. I’m sad. I’m annoyed. This change was explained to me is because Wyndam had bought the LaQuinta chain. This MAJOR CHANGE in policy should be told up front when booking.

Beautiful hotel but getting very worn, needs, repairs, in some areas in the rooms. Why the cheap tp? Our shower floor was very slippery and no mat to stand on for safety. TV was constantly buffering, not able to watch anything. Very frustarating. Needs upgrading!

The breakfast needs a major upgrade, setup & signage. Proper garbage container with a cover. Fruit available very minimal. Tables need to be wiped on a request basis NOT having to ask. All tv’s in each room need to be set to local programming. NOT left on ROKU setting. Pancake area very busy needs cleanup on a regular basis. Washrooms are freezing. Front desk staff person was exceptional

Alisha at the front desk only pretended to care about your needs and she didn’t do that very well. The shower pan had some funky looking patch job. And it was 40 degrees outside and the heat was not on in the room. That might not have been a big problem but the room was 65 deg and the heater, as it turns out, only changes the room temp a degree every 45 minutes. When it warms up and you are sleeping you shiver when the thermostat is set to 72 and swelter when it is set to 73 deg.

We thought the hotel's interior was beautiful except it looks like there has been some very visible wear and tear to the beautiful walls, carpeting, and some furniture which is a shame and should be repaired. Our room, 203, had a bathroom that was very much in need of immediate repairs. The shower doors were installed backwards, not possible to reach in without getting get totally wet in order to adjust the shower head, Until we figured out how to keep the doors from sliding back open, (throwing a wet wash ragover the wheels in the upper rack), there was much flooding on the floor and it is causing all the trim to rot and deteriorate. The bath fan didn't work. The entire bathroom is not "up to code" and needs painting. It needs to be completely redone.

overall average stay I guess... the decor/theme was nice but my room specifically was really warn out. It must have been vacant for a while because it was really dusty and surfaces including phone and remote were grimy. I took a town and wiped down the remote and desk etc... The tile in the bathroom had big chips and gaps in the grout, and the faucet was not securely fixed and moved every time you turn the water on. The toilet paper was dirty, the sheer curtains were covered in chunks of something and had rips in the bottom. I made the front desk aware of the condition of the curtains and they commented that they were aware, but couldn't throw them away until they had the budget to replace all of them in every room to maintain the "look" that Wyndham requires - the staff was nice but seemed rushed when asking a question and they weren't available to answer the phone when calling from my room, so I had to walk to the front desk to get help. There were no towels at the pool and when a few were finally dropped off, one had two very large holes in it. My room was directly above the pool on the second floor and smelled strongly of the pool chlorine. There were Ants in the room and a mysterious bug in the ceiling corner of the bathroom (Why on the second floor??) and the ice machine on the 2nd floor was missing, so had to go to the 4th floor. Breakfast was fine, standard spread for a hotel with inclusive breakfast. Staff at breakfast was kind and helpful.
