Basement Apartment--Sleeps 6 *2 Bedrooms +Kitchen/Laundry

Nicely furnished & Spacious Basement Apartment. Located in the Center of town right next to Ridge Park & close to SUU. The basement is private, with a separate entrance and lockbox code, no stairs to enter, and lots of parking on the North side. Furnished kitchen with microwave, toaster, coffee pot, fridge, stove, & all the essentials to cook your own meals. Netflix, cable, & board games provided. My family lives in the upstairs and main floor year round. Our home is in a perfect location, just over a mile from the Cedar City Temple & The Shakespeare Festival. Enjoy your stay in beautiful Southern Utah!
There are so many great hiking/biking trails nearby. We are also close to the Aquatic Center, Lake on the Hill, Ice Rink, & Wal-Mart. Kolob Canyon is 20 minutes away, Cedar Breaks 30 minutes, Brian Head 45 minutes, Zion National Park 75 minutes, & Bryce Canyon 90 minutes.

This is really nice apartment. The apartment is very well furnished with everything you might need even some necessities in the refrigerator. Laundry room was great. Beds were comfy. Air conditioning/heating was good but would prefer to be able to have some control of it. You could hear the family upstairs quite often throughout the day and night but it wasn’t beyond what you’d expect in the listing. Entry/driveway is private. I enjoyed the stay.

Excellent location and a lovely place

This is our second stay (and not the last). We come for the Shakespeare Festival and the location is so great! And the basement apartment is lovely, comfortable, and well equipped.

We came to town to visit family outside of Cedar and attend a basketball tournament in St. George, this location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. Close to the highway, close to stores, food, and many activities. Located in a quiet neighborhood with a cute park less than a minute walk away. Great communication from host, very welcoming and accommodating. This will be our first choice to stay on our future trips.

This little place is a GEM for our family of 4. The pictures don't look as cute as the place is -- my wife thought it's really cute and cozy. This place is actually roomy imo for a 2 bedroom 1 bath. It has all the right touches throughout. I like to cook and this place has all of the amenities I needed-- I didn't have to use much of whatever I brought. We'd definitely book this place again if I come to Cedar city. The host was great at communicating to us from beginning to end with clear instructions. Only gripe from my wife was the water pressure thus why she didn't shower but I didn't mind at all. A hot shower was all I needed after a long day out.

Spotlessly clean, wonderful set up, private driveway and entrance. Everything that was needed was there. This was our first stay in a vrbo and booked thru expedia. We'd definitely stay here again. This is our second time staying in this wonderful property. As before, check in and out is very smooth. The place is welcoming and the location is perfect for the Shakespeare Festival! Excellent stay

We stay here as part of our trip to Bryce/Zion National Park. The apartment was clean, and well-furnished. Our stay here was very good. The location is also convenient to the highway. The owner took great care in decorating the house, so we feel very at ease. One improvement is that the house could improve on the noise because this is a basement, and we can hear noise from walking upstairs. Overall, we think it is a very good stay.

Exceeded Expectations

This property was perfect for our family vacation to Southern Utah. The basement apartment was clean, well decorated and appointed, and the washer/dryer was an added bonus. Walking distance to SUU and the Shakespeare Festival - short drive to downtown Cedar City...not far from Zion, Bryce, and the Homestead of Butch Cassidy. We will definitely check this property for availability first when we travel to Cedar City in the future.

Clean and conveniently located

We were in Cedar City for a conference so we really only needed a place to sleep, but this was perfect! It was just a mile or so from our conference. It smelled clean when we walked in, and it definitely was. It's in a college area, so there was the smallest bit of traffic in the mornings. The people living upstairs have dogs who seemed to get startled and barked both nights, but only for just a minute. The ceiling/floor wasn't as soundproof as I would have liked, so you could hear the people moving around upstairs, but overall, I would absolutely stay here again.

Nice kitchen table and living area to play games and relax. Kitchen well stocked. Clean and nicely decorated, seemed homey. Clean bathroom and comfortable bed. Only two negatives. The apartment was cold in day but too hot at night but we couldn’t adjust temperature of furnace. And we could hear people upstairs. Not a big deal during the day but in the middle of the night is hard for a light sleeper.

Shakespear Getaway

The property was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with many cooking needs (oil, butter, spices etc) that are not found in many rentals. We had everything we needed. Didn't have to talk to the property manager at all. Plenty of room to park two cars off the street. We had a very positive experience. Only one minor complaint. You can hear noises from the upstairs in one of the bedrooms.

Perfect Home Base

I really loved this little walkout basement apartment. It was spotlessly clean, felt so safe and cozy, and had plenty of room for me. I was traveling around most of the time I was there for my nieces band competition. So coming back to a place so welcoming and comfortable really made my trip even more amazing. I nicknamed the place my little bunker. The bed I slept in was very comfortable. Amentities were well appointed and thought out with great consideration to being welcoming and convenient. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone who needs a perfect home base if your lower western travels. Thanks so much to my hosts for a great stay!

Keep in mind that there is a family living above this spot! You will hear them all day and in the night! If this will disrupt you, this is not the spot for you. We have stayed here a couple of time. It’s perfectly located in between family in the area. We love the ease of access and that it is close off the freeway. We will be staying again!
