Le gérant ignorait nôtre réservation n'ayant , dit-il, pas reçu la facture de Hotel.com. Nous avons passé deux nuits. La chambre n'a pas été refaite pour la deuxième nuit . Aucune mesure barrière n'a été prise. Aucun des membres de la famille du propriétaire ne portait de masque. A noter une fuite d'eau au plafond

Bon rapport qualité/prix

Essentiellement un bon rapport qualité/prix après avoir testé un certain nombre d'autres hôtels en Haiti. Le propriétaire est convivial et cherche à solutionner les problèmes. L'endroit est très bien car l’hôtel donne juste sur un assez grande plage de sable fin et plutôt propre. il y a également une petite piscine fort agréable et propre ou l'on peu se baigner sans être l'attraction des autres clients de l’hôtel car cachée derrière un mur végétal tropical. Seul hic, il n'y avait pas de climatiseurs contrairement à ce qui était annoncé sur le site. Enfin, des moustiquaires n'auraient pas été de trop... Mais bon, d'une façon générale, nous avons passé un agréable séjour pour un prix tout à fait abordable et pour être complet, nous y retournerions bien (contrairement aux hôtels de la côte des .

Hotel n'est pas situé au centre-ville de Jacmel

Très mauvaise expérience. Hotel situé à 15 minutes en voiture du centre-ville de Jacmel. Expedia devrait vérifier ses informations. L'emplacement sur la carte est erroné. J'ai vu un commentaire de 2016 stipulant ceci. Franchement, ça aurait dû être réglé depuis longtemps.

Nice family hotel to stay for a short period.

I went over there for st Dominique festivities of august 4th, I had a very good experience. Food was amaizing , staff service was wow and I stay around 4 days over there. I will go back next year. Philippe Schubert

This is Haiti Surfing!

L'Amitie Hotel was exactly what we were hoping to find on the southern coast of Haiti. It's a little oasis from the hustle and bustle of Jacmel. L'Amitie Hotel is located in Cayes de Jacmel. We felt safe at all times: the room had a dead bolt, and the thief-bar-screen door on the balcony (which overlooked the pool) had a deadbolt as well. Everybody we encountered was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a complimentary breakfast of ham & cheese omelette, with mango & pineapple on the side, and juice. For dinner, we enjoyed lobster (and plenty of it!) for about $13 US. We would recommend you show up with Gourds (or lots of $1 bills) for buying goods from the locals (they will set up their wares on the beach just outside of the hotel), as it was inconvenient for the owner to convert our currency. The restaurant took US, but it was a bit of a hassle for them to have to make change for us. The resort was situated right on a wonderful little surf spot beach break with a great friendly local surf reef point just 200 yards up the beach. The surf break was right across the street from a local shop: Surf Haiti surf shop, where they have boards and super-friendly local guys who all seemed to speak pretty good English. I would recommend this hotel to be the jumping off spot for exploring the many surf opportunities along this southern coast of Haiti. The reefs were algae-covered and not sharp coral, providing both challenging surf and super-easy fun, sand-bottomed surf. We would go again!

Great location and service!

The hotel is right on the Caribbean sea. The sand beach is beautiful, since they seem to collect garbage and burn it almost every night. The staff are friendly and helpful. They lent me a Wi-Fi mobile rooter too. Just be careful, the hotel is in Caye Jacmel, NOT in Jacmel as the Expedia map wrongly indicates.
