Love camping but don’t want to sacrifice comfort? Our beautifully furnished air-conditioned Tipi has a King size adjustable Serta Hybrid mattress, a mini-fridge & a Keurig coffee maker. Enjoy romantic starry nights on the oversized deck in a peaceful meadow with a propane firepit. Relax by the pond, explore the Oregon Caves, scenic mountains, wineries, or the rugged coast. A bright lantern and soft towels are provided. Bathrooms and showers are steps away. Our Ultimate Glamping Luxury Tipi.

Office hours are between 9 am and 6 pm, but I am available by phone or text from 6 am to 8:30 pm seven days a week. I'll send my contact information with the guest guidebook message before your arrival. I'm here to help!

Exciting day-trip destinations are north, east, west, or south. Lone Mountain Resort is near the Oregon Caves National Monument, the Illinois River, and several wineries. It is also within a short drive of the Redwood National Forest, Crater Lake National Park, and many other attractions. You can explore the hiking trails in southern Oregon, go fishing, rafting, and kayaking on the river, or visit the charming towns and villages along the coast.

The Wild Horses Tipi is a large 20-footer set up on an oversized deck. It has four outdoor chairs, a large umbrella, a propane fire pit, a picnic table, and a briquet BBQ grill.

Our beautiful facility is equipped with 4 well lit restrooms, which you can easily access 24-hours a day. Two of the facilities also have coin operated showers. You will need a code to access the facilities. Motion sensing lighting and flash lights are also provided.

You should also know that this tipi has bottled water in the fridge but no running water. A drinking water tap is nearby, and the restrooms have coin-operated showers that cost $3.00. There is a change machine in the front of the resort in our guest laundry room. You'll receive more details with the guest guidebook message I'll send before your arrival.

Wild Horses Tipi

This was the perfect fun experience for the night before our son's 10th birthday (who happens to be Year of the Horse). We all agreed it was a highlight of our roadtrip--close to Oregon Caves, everything was clean and well kept, refreshing freshwater swimming pond, close bathrooms, quiet property (we only saw the other guests outside very briefly), enjoyed our complimentary coffee under the stars on our private deck, nice added touch that there were games and books to borrow in the laundry room, even though we were too busy using the Wifi to partake. Christopher responded to email/text messages quickly and let us borrow bedding when we forgot a sleeping bag for our extra-person cot. This was our first time glamping, and it was pretty much magical and we wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you so much for a memorable stay, Christopher and Lone Mountain!
