Villa Alemagou
La Croix-Valmer
6.0 out of 10, (2 reviews)
"The building was worn down. Check-in time at 16 pm is quite late and a lot of stuff we’re not proper when we got the house. We wasted 2 nights for the host to fix an electrical curtain in one of the room which meant that you can’t use that room for 2/4 nights. Cleaning could be better. Pool was without a proper pump so water was not very clean. Communication with host was could be better. My pre authorization block is still not returned one week after departure. "

"La Bastide is a great Provençal hotel in an amazing and quiet area. The place is surrounded by trees, vineyard, a farm and piece of arts. Next to the Bastide, 10/15 mn by walk, you have the winery the Commanderie de Peyrassol. The vineyard is stunning. Within the vineyard, you have two restaurants, check Jeanette a gastronomy restaurant with great food and the Bistrou Lou for more casual food. Both restaurants are great and in a great location. VILLA SOLEIL D'OR GOLFE DE ST TROPEZ4*, swimming pool at 29° all year round, 180° view

10/10 Excellent
"I cannot say enough good things about la Villa du Soleil d'Or...or about its owner and caretakers. From the very beginning several months ago when booking my reservation...through the actual use of the property, the owner was very prompt and helpful in answering any questions I had. Additionally, her staff was equally supportive at every step of my booking and stay. For example, they helped me late in my booking to find a private chef for a small birthday party at the villa with friends. And the overall experience with that chef was absolutely flawless and fantastic.I think it's important to add that no VRBO rental property in my experience is ever absolutely perfect...and that includes la Villa du Soleil d'Or. HOWEVER...la Villa du Soleil was as close to perfect as I have ever experienced. Any issues we DID have were minor. And more importantly, the owner and her team responded promptly and effectively to any issue we had. That made our 2 week stay absolutely flawless.I'll also add that our party consisted of a highly demanding group of friends made up of Americans, French, Brazilians and Swedes...all of whom have extremely high expectations as very well-traveled people. We rent houses like this every 2 years together for a similar vacation across Europe. And every single person in our group said the exact same thing: THIS WAS THE ABSOLUTE BEST HOUSE WE HAVE EVER RENTED.Merci beacoup Virginie, Imane et Hafida ! C'étaient les vacances de mes rêves !"
