"The host, Jeff was exceptionally proactive in communicating. The house is exactly as pictured and described. Even better than expected in person.The house had beautiful Christmas decorations and a very nice welcome basket. We traveled with two small dogs and there was room in the loft for their little beds. Carrying the puppies up and down the stairs was necessary due to steepness but that was expected. Just something to consider if that’s not your thing. Overall positive experience! "

I’ve stayed at Alpine Lake at several different properties, and this was the first one that provided keys to be able to use the indoor pool. It was the perfect space for our family of 3 and 2 dogs. "We enjoyed the roominess of the house and rooms. Everyone had their own space if they wanted it, and yet there was plenty of room to congregate in the common areas or around the kitchen table. The kids loved the pool and the dock access and spent quite a bit of time trying to fish. The wooded area was very nice, beds were comfortable, and we also enjoyed the hot tubs!"
