"This was a wonderful place to stay and so relaxing. Complete and full Lakeview from both the master bedroom and the kitchen and living room. I would go so far is to say this place is elegant in a rustic way. Everything you need was there. The beautiful copper tub was wonderful and also the steam shower. Although we didn’t bring kids, there was plenty of games and even electronic games for kids to play. My only caution would be the stairs. And I did talk to Bob about the stairs. They built the house to look as natural as possible and again it is gorgeous but the stairs down to the property from the street are large flat rocks, but there is no banister. I would definitely recommend people to take that in consideration if you have anyone that has any type of limitation. Bob was very good to put that in the listing so we were kind of expecting it, but I didn’t realize it would be from the street to the house. I thought it would be from the house down to the lake. Plus the spiral stairway is beautiful, but if you bring a small dog with you or again, anyone who has physical limitations that would be a difficult trek up and down the spiral stairway. But the house itself, and the time there was wonderful. "

"Ipe was an amazing host. He was so accommodating. He made sure everything was perfect. Checked on the temperature to be sure all was good and we were comfortable. Answered our texts immediately when we texted him. Our stay was lovely. The house was so quaint and perfect for a reunion of 7. The lake is so pretty. We enjoyed the water, sunsets and wild life out the sunroom windows. We could not have had a better time. We would stay there again when in the area. I give this review and the host an A. Thank you for taking such good care of us while we were there."

"This was an absolutely adorable property. We went to visit our son in Charlotte for the weekend and stayed in Belmont because we planning on doing some outdoor activities but loved the town and the house. We only wish we had been able to spend more time there."

"House had everything you need and is in a quiet older neighborhood. The fenced in yard is very helpful if you have a dog. Beds were comfortable, appliances worked well, and TV/Internet good. Only recommendation is to put shades or blinds on from and back door. We had to tape a trash bag on front door. All requests were promptly addressed."
