A poor check in process. Miserable staff sat some distance from the desk Then the room was not ready when we got to it. Told to leave our bags and come back later. We had urgent e-mails to deal with and had to do this down in reception. No apology
The hotel is right across the street from the boardwalk and the beach. It is located at the opposite end of the boardwalk from the harbor, lighthouse and church, which gave us many opportunities to stroll the boardwalk and relax. The staff was most helpful.
Lovely hotel. Stayed for 2 nights prior to getting ferry from Bilboa. Room very spacious. Sea view. Kettle in room.Had dinner in hotel and it was excellent. 20 mins to ferry. Very pleasant seaside town. Would stay again.
Some staff chose to ignore us, or became angry if we spoke poor Spanish. Otherwise the room is clean and spacious, and the complimentary breakfast is wonderful. The property is 50 m from the beach.
Beautiful room comfortable beds and modern ensuite bathroom. Fridge in room stocked up daily with water and bottles of orange. Only negative was breakfast expensive so walked on sea front to one of many cafeteria's were Spanish breakfast for 2 was cheaper than hotel breakfast for 1. Garage parking available but plenty of parking in front of hotel.
