"Oliver was super nice host. Room was top notch. Hotel has an amazing picturesque garden with pool. Lots of fruit trees in the garden. We are vegetarian and Oliver made sure to provide a great breakfast for us. "
"After my girlfriend could not come on the vacation due to appendicitis, I decided to travel to Alora solo. The region is just stunning and David and Wendy were extremely accommodating and made me feel right at home . I have never woken up to such a stunning view. The pool is perfect as well and a great way to cool off and get some exercise. Thank you so much for your hospitality, David and Wendy."

"This was a lovely hotel and would rate it higher than a 2 star.
It was spotlessly clean, open and airy. Good air conditioning. Nice gardens and pool. Felt very homely and friendly.
Breakfast was fresh and good choices. With fresh fruit, pancakes bread and meats.
Plenty of parking at the property and just around the corner. Was very safe.
Staff were great, friendly, hard working and would help with where to dine and activities. Nothing too much bother.
Train station very close, giving easy access to surrounding towns and cities.
You could walk into Alora but it was very up hill. Or short drive."
"This hostal is in the city center, the staff was amazing, the facilities are very clean and maintained. The room had a small fridge and air conditioner and the room and bathroom were spotless! The only downside was parking, however there’s a public parking lot about a quarter a mile away. "

"Very clean very nice property that included everything needed for our trip. We loved the city and had a very peaceful stay. The hosts were so great at communicating and helpful when we asked for anything. The views are also spectacular. We would recommend this stay and would love to come back. "
"Fantastic stay.Flores and Maria were excellent hosts who communicated clearly. The villa is beautiful and hosts stunning views of the mountains.Situated in the perfect town of Alora, only a few mins walk to shops (mercadona) and many restaurants and cafes. The villa has everything needed from a fully stocked kitchen with dishwasher and large fridge freezer. Plenty of utensils, including a very good barbecue with outdoor wash area and an outdoor fridge.A car is only really required to reach the villa. Alora has many things to see and do.Many thanks Flores and MariaWe had an excellent time "

"We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Mimosa.Steve and Helen have clearly put a lot of work in over the years to the house and gardens as inside and outside is immaculate. The garden and grounds are pristine and it’s clear to see the effort gone in to them. The pool is a good size and our kids enjoyed playing in it as did we to cool down in the July heat. There are lots of different seating options at the front and back of the house for dining or relaxing in the shade, which has also been clearly thought out and added over the years.Inside 3 good sized air conditioned bedrooms all with nice en suites. Large kitchen which is really well equipped. Large living space with 2 sofas and tv plus large dining table - plenty of tv channels available, which Steve showed us and access to Netflix, YouTube etc.Helen and Steve are lovely hosts. They gave us a nice welcome and contacted us in advance of our stay with details of how to get there. They also provided a welcome pack with a lot of food and drinks which was a really nice touch! They keep the pool and area clean in the early mornings. Nothing is too much trouble and Helen gave us some restaurant recommendations during our stay. We’ve stayed in similar properties with pools in Mallorca and Spain over the years but this is probably the nicest as it’s so well cared for by Helen and Steve. Big thanks to them and hopefully we will return again for another relaxing stay!"
"Beautiful large villa, bohemian sums it up nicely with every room a treat. amazing pool, we had a small issue with it but that was quickly fixed. my only compliant was no spatula! the shaded outside bar area was a fantastic location to hang out in the evening with views of the castle. just lovely."
"The property is in a good location, set within olive orchards. You can easily walk to Alora which has everything you need from Supermarkets to restaurants. The walk to town is paved and safe to be done even in the dark.
We came during the October rains and it was quite cold outside, so we only used the outside kitchen and barbecue once. The pool area is great, it was a shame we couldn't use it more. The views are breath-taking with wonderful sunsets. Also the basketball play area was popular with our family.
I would say the kitchen is a bit small for the property size. Equipment was limited, eg. lack of chopping boards, decent knifes, mugs etc. could be improved. But it didn't spoil our stay. The lounge is decent size, everything is quite rustic, chairs need some repairs. We used the fireplace which worked well. I suppose in the summer you'd hardly use the indoor space, but we had no choice.
All in all, it is a nice property and it was cheaper than others in the area, so I am taking that into consideration and was expecting rustic style. Aircon/heating system is using some strange timer set up, so only works on one selected temperature and turns off automatically. The owner was a nice chap and always responded to our queries promptly. "
