A fantastic view of the Alps, the scent of wood, stone, and fireplaces—an intense love passed down from my father, a Roman by adoption but a native of Canavese by birth and at heart. And I, who was born and raised in Rome, escape to Castelnuovo Nigra (Sale) among my mountains whenever I can. My mountains, photographed hundreds of times to capture an emotion that might slip away or be forgotten… yet one that is never truly forgotten—and my mountains are there, waiting for me with their majesty.
