"To sit and have breakfast outside by the pool was absolutely wonderful. The view from our room across the pool and over the gardens towards the sea was very special. The sea was very close ...just down a slight hill and across the road so no need to pay for a sun lounger if you fancied dip at the end of a day exploring.The staff are kind and helpful. The atmosphere is one of calm and i would absolutely go back in an instant."

"Hotel was perfect. Great location. Comfortable room. Great breakfast. Very relaxing. Very helpful staff - reception and hospitality team. Only downside - although great to have a pool it’s small and there aren’t a lot of loungers - annoyingly (which I didn’t expect) beds were reserved in the morning with towels and left unoccupied for a good few hours. The food was also really nice and good value "

"Fantastic. Clearly this the the most modern and luxurious hotel in San Remo about 50 years ago. since then it has been well maintained, but not really modernised much. The food was fab, the pool great and the pool side bar/restaurant top class. Really top class, but a bit old fashioned - which is fine if you don't want the latest guff. "
