"Fantastic little find, out in the middle of nowhere, high in the hills above the lake. The most spectacular views from the balcony where we just sat in the peace and quiet. "We did not know what to expect but we’re very happy and delighted with the quality of the property. It’s a gorgeous setting. Excellent facilities with tennis court and spa. Outdoor pool area was very clean and tidy with lots of sun loungers under the shade. There is a fantastic waiter service serving drinks and fruit platters to the poolside although the little call buzzer wasn’t working when we stayed. The staff are very helpful and work very hard but it can feel like no one works here at times as they stay in the background. The food was really good and they have a great wine selection. We dined twice in the restaurant which was bustling and had a great atmosphere. Glad we booked at table. We didn’t opt for breakfast every morning instead found little Boulangeries for croissants and coffees which is all we needed. We had the junior suite on the first floor which was perfect for 2 adults and 2 children as there was a changing area and large bathroom with walk in shower and bath and a separate toilet. Loads of places to put clothes. The little village nearby is very small and has no shops or bars except one restaurant which doesn’t open for breakfasts or morning coffees."
