Beautiful location, room was nice, bathroom excellent and lots of hot water. Slight criticism was noisy plumbing- but minor issue. Breakfast was good, hostess had good English and very pleasant. Need a car as very steep to property. Excellent cleaner - very thorough. Lovely stay, thank you.

Giovanna was a wonderful host. The property is very relaxing with an amazing infinity pool and fantastic views of the sea. Restaurants and many activities are within minutes. Would definitely return.

Une bonne adresse

Nous avons été bien accueillis, la propriétaire est agréable et sympathique. L’endroit est calme et assez isolé ce qui nous convenait bien. Scopello et ses restaurants sont accessibles en quelques minutes. Très belle vue sur la mer depuis les terrasses et l’espace piscine. Une bonne adresse, nous la conserverons précieusement pour un prochain séjour.

A slendid room with a fabulous view.

There is no doubt that this is the place to stay if you are visiting Scopello.The village itself is a small, unspoilt delight with a welter of restaurants from which to choose. The B&B is high above the village and looks out over the countryside to the sea. There is a lovely infinity swimming pool. The breakfasts are wonderful and if you have a sweet tooth you will love the home-made pastries etc. The hostess is very friendly and welcoming. This is not the cheapest place to stay in the area but is well worth the additional cost. We would return in a flash!

Der Ausblick ist ein Traum. Aus dem Bett heraus kann man das Meer sehen. Wir waren fünf Nächte dort. Das Frühstück hat sich irgendwann wiederholt, aber war dennoch lecker und es gab alles was man brauchte!

Vi fik en dejlig modtagelse og blev hurtigt tjekket ind. Værelserne ligger alle med en unik udsigt over Scopello og havet. Vi fik en dejlig morgenmad hver morgen som vi spiste på terrassen i solen. Bestemt et sted vi vil besøge igen, hvis vejen går forbi Scopello

Stunning views

Our stay at L'Antica Cascina del Golfo was throughly enjoyable. The view was stunning, the breakfasts were delicious, the hotel lovely and quiet, plus the staff were very helpful and friendly. It felt like we were staying with friends! You will not be disappointed with any part of your stay. Scopello is a lovely quaint town with a couple of great restaurants and the service in most places is excellent. It's about 10 min to walk to town from L'Antica Cascina del Golfo and if you have a car, it's even more convenient. Cetaria Diving offers great diving as well as snorkelling and they are fantastic. It is well worth looking in to what you could do while staying at L'Antica Cascina del Golfo.

Stunning view

Close to charming Scopello and Zingarra Nat Park- a walk here a must!!! Stunning outlook perched high in the rocky hills overlooking sea and mountains. Well sited for easy day tris to Segesta and stunning Erice. Local restaurants of a very high standard many with beautiful views over Scopello beach and towers. Giovana very helpful during our stay and provides delicious breakfast. Problem though with finding accomodation as I had no response to any emails I sent and Anticas web site in Italian only. Also you are not charged a hospitality fee so info by Expedia incorrect. Many signs rules in room which are not current- pool towels are free so idnore notice. Would advise for hosts to remove all these notices as it's very offputting upon arrival and gives you the impression that hospitality is poor when in fact this is not the case. Highly recommend a stay here.

Camera con vista

Posizione spettacolare di fronte ai Faraglioni di Scopello e alla Riserva dello Zingaro. La stanza era semplice, ma funzionale e ben arredata, e soprattutto affacciava sulla bellissima piscina e sul mare. Colazioni ricche e genuine a bordo piscina con dolci e marmellate fatti in casa. Torneremo senza ombra di dubbio!!!!

Beautiful boutique B&B and super friendly hosts

Very comfortable and decadent rooms for a bed and breakfast. Very good hosts, amazing sea view, once infinity pool and road upto venue are finished, it will be incredible. Breakfast was delicious and made with love.

Une excellente première étape en Sicile

Une position GPS trop imprécise pour rejoindre seul l'accés à l'Antica Cascina via un chemin escarpé mais heureusement facilité grâce à l'aide et l'accueil attentif de notre charmante hotesse. Un regret: des travaux bruyant (certainement temporaires) ...et un petit déjeuner dans une pièce fermée altèrent un peu ce séjour dans un lieu avec une vue magique ...très proche du merveilleux village de Scopello et à seulement une demie heure de Palerme.

Beautiful Location and View!

The rooms here mostly face the sea, a beautiful view and the owner was lovely and very helpful. The room had a comfortable bed and a TV and the double doors opened onto your own patio with a fantastic view of the sea. Two large sun loungers were also provided.We were in Sicily for 7 nights and stayed somewhere different every night on our travels. We were really pleased with the room, the surroundings and our hosts. The small town of Scopello is very nearby, 5 minute drive if that and is very quaint with a number of good restaurants. The buffet breakfast was very nice, held in the conservatory of the main building. We would happily stay here again and recommend to family and friends.

Spectacular View

L'Antica Cascina del Golfo is set high on a bluff overlooking the sea. The view is spectacular. The rooms are spotless. The breakfast buffets were extensive and delicious.

Charming village, breathtaking views

This simple B&B has one of the best views in Sicily. Being tucked into the hillside, the sea and mountain breezes mean that the temperature is much more bearable than in towns. Scopello is almost painfully charming and picturesque, with a buzzing atmosphere in the evenings. The host, Giovanna, is helpful with local knowledge and very welcoming. Her breakfasts are also wonderful!

Beautiful views, clean room,comfortable beds.

The hotel is situated at the top of a hill overlooking the beautiful Scopello/Del Golfo coast. The road to it is poorly marked, very rugged, & unpaved (which I loved). Staff was very friendly, my room was super clean and the view from my comfortable bed was amazing. Wish I could have had time to stay more than one night. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay away from the city.
