"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I give this hotel a five-star review! The room was very clean, the breakfast was amazing, and the kids absolutely loved the pool and gym area. Everything about our stay was great from start to finish. Plus, it’s only about a mile away from Cedar Point, which made everything super convenient for our weekend getaway. We will definitely be coming back the next time we visit. Highly recommend for families looking for a fun and relaxing stay!"

6/10 Okay

"For the price you pay, it is simply not a high end lodging experience. It is convenient to the park, but other than that fact, it is an unremarkable hotel. You stand in lines for everything, no coffee makers in the rooms, and the place seemed dated. Definitely understaffed. Feels like Six Flags is trying to recoup the merger expenses on the backs of guests and employees."

"The room was clean. So all in all that was a plus. This hotel is very close to cedar point and is relatively reasonably priced. We booked here along with friends to utilize the outdoor pool area after soccer games which is beautiful. The pool was closed for no apparent reason. It looked beautiful and we called the day before just to check and they said yes it's open. So that was a huge let down.they did offer a pass to drive to hotel Breakers to use their pool. There is no breakfast at all. There is no coffee to purchase or for free. Would I stay here again, possibly."

"Staff was friendly and the morning breakfast was good but shower head was nearly half a foot short than me (5'11), shower shelves not level as my shampoo bottle fell off onto my foot 4 times, the drink machines only accepted cash and 1 dollar bills with at least 1 not even working at all. But the tipping point was the fact that I noticed that after getting out of the shower and walking around in my room barefoot, the bottom of my feet started turning black from how dirty the carpet was."

"The cabin was great, very accessible and convenient. Having a dog, being able to park right in front of the room was wonderful. The decor was charming, loved the colors! The creativity was impressive. The only issue I had was road noise. It didn’t bother me but it triggered my dog’s anxiety, which truthfully, doesn’t take much. Also, very much appreciated the access to ice water in the lobby. It was a great stop before hitting the road again!"

"The staff was outstanding from check in to check out. The room and facilities are super clean. Breakfast is very generous and if not enough, they offer free cookies, popcorn and soda each evening at 7 Pm. I was not there a lot, but when I returned from my expeditions, it felt like coming home. They remembered my name. It was a personal touch that is rare anymore. I enjoyed my stay with Sandusky Super 8 very much. "

"Don't come in May, you'll be attacked by tiny midge bugs. Bring earplugs because the train runs all night long. Bring your own toilet paper and tissues, as theirs are hard as a rock. The door wasn't flush and we smelled skunk. We had to cover the door with a blanket. There was little water pressure in the the shower. On the plus side, there was a nice mini-fridge and a charging bank for our phones. The staff were very nice. We appreciated them. We will not be back."
