This cottage offers a private rustic vibe with a knotty pine-nautical decor. Additionally, the backyard has a grill, table, chairs, and a firepit to enjoy the private wooded scenery. Please note-Since The backyard is very rustic and woodsy. So due to the woodsy and rustic area, we don't guarantee to maintain the grill or the outside furniture regularly. Everything just as advertised, clean and quiet property in a nice safe neighborhood, stayed there with a 21 foot bass boat, easy to get it in the driveway and keep it plugged in overnight. Will definitely stay again the next time I'm up that way.
Our group of ladies have been taking trips together for years. We like to try new places and had a very relaxing stay at the Cozy Cottage. Tiffany was very responsive and helpful and the property was comfortable and clean. The shared beach area was perfect and just a short walk with a wagon! We enjoyed our time together! Thank you ❤️

Did not deliver.
I reserved the “cozy cottage of Caseville” as part of our wedding anniversary. I received a message from the property manager that the cottage would not be available due to a septic issue. She gave me 2 other options with a ‘refund’ for being accommodating. I gave the ok for a different place and then received a message that the new property was not available also for septic issues. The ‘sunset shanty’ was the last remaining property. I was told the lower rating was corrected due to a new cleaning person. We received a $200 discount. I later confirmed this was not a discount at all for the trouble but she just matched the lower cost for the ‘sunset shanty’ vs what I paid for the ‘cozy cottage.’ When we entered the property, it was in the woods and ‘sunset’ is very deceiving. It did not have lake views and no water access which was falsely advertised. It was an older rundown double wide that was falling apart. The home smelled like a smoker lived there which was not comfortable my pregnant wife. Towel racks etc were falling off the wall because drywall anchors were not used. The doors wouldn’t shut properly. The furniture was cheap and uncomfortable. The tv would not work either. This was not a romantic get away and the manager knew in advance this was for an anniversary trip. We left early as we were uncomfortable. We received an additional $40 off but again, this was not a discount as the home had a cheaper price per night than the one I originally booked. Do not recommend.

Place was nice and very well equipped with what we needed for our stay definitely recommend and will be staying again!
Great Location and Clean Well Decorated Cottage.Included all the necessary amenities. Our Grand Kids Loved the Cottage! We would definitely stay there again and recommend for families.
A fun house with a wooded backyard, lots of games, close to everything and the beach was perfect with it right across the road...we spent so much time there! Definitely coming back! Perfect 4th weekend!
We loved our stay at the Cozy Cottage! The space was very comfortable for our family group of 7 adults and our dog :) The beds were comfortable and the shower was great. The private access trail to the beach was great too, very close. Had I paid more attention in realizing there was no dishwasher, I would have brought paper plates to avoid washing dishes, but not a big deal. Also, there was no ice or an ice tray to make some so we bought one and left it there. We will definitely try to book the Cozy Cottage when we visit Caseville again.
When looking at the pictures Just remember it is across the street from the lake
Upstairs bedroom was alot warmer than the rest of the house
Would stay there again those are just minor things nice people very nice place
Would definitely stay here again. I do wish the walkway from cars to porch was salted and shoveled. The porch was pure ice and very slippery. Otherwise, the kitchen had everything you could want!

Family vacation.
The inside of the property was much nicer than the outside. Property was run down.
Beach was across the street and a few houses down. There was a wagon to bring your stuff but it only had 3 wheels.
Had nice weather so enjoyed the beach.
The cottage is in a great location across M25 from a sandy beach on the lake. It was well equipped and very clean. The jacuzzi is a very nice bonus.
Don’t make the mistake I did of using the “Private Drive” directly across the street for beach access. A troll of a man will pop out of his door and yell at you. I didn’t read the instructions carefully. The beach access is several doors down where there is a “Private Property” sign.
The only improvement I would suggest is for the owner to provide a working grill with a supply of propane. Other than that you have everything you need for a great stay.

Trip cut short non functional refrigerator
The vacation and place would have been ok if I would have had a working refrigerator. My family was forced to leave after two days of a non working refrigerator. So my family vacation was basically ruined. The rental in my opinion was not cleared and ready to be rented. The back patio was filthy along with the patio table and chairs which we had to clean to be able to even use. I would definitely beware and check that everything is in working order before you move one thing in the house. It was wasted time off work and gas money for my family to drive there. Not something I would wish on anyone.
Disappointed in services received from host and Vrbo for stay
- screen doors do not shut
- beach access is not just across the street
- power went out on Tuesday around 5 pm est and I contacted host to ask if there were flashlights and candles. There was one little light. Asked host to report outage. We looked up restoration and it said Thursday. We got up Wednesday morning to still no power and no running water, couldn’t flush toilets, no showers, can’t brush teeth and used bottled water to wash hands. We decided to leave Wednesday morning instead of when our check out date was Friday at 11 am est. host would not refund our money for the remainder of the stay nor schedule us for a couple of other days. She offered $100 and we were still out $400. Vrbo would only refund $85 for service fees and said there was nothing they could do. Not staying where I don’t have running water, flushing toilets and can’t wash hands or shower for who knows how long.
- very disappointing
