Unfortunately, spider webs/cobwebs are a daily battle here in the summer. We chemically treat each week and brush down the porches daily to try to keep webs to a minimum but fully admit it feels to be a losing battle at times. I'm sorry you had to experience the final days of our stairs. I know they look terrible. We are currently waiting for construction to start on a new set any day!Lastly, I'm sorry you were disappointed in the size of your room. Our queen room with kitchenette is normally a favorite among single/couple travelers. The room may not offer much extra space but we have the rooms set up for travelers convenience and comfort ie. Table, chairs, dresser. And finally, unfortunately an "upgrade" like you requested after check in is not always possible when we are sold out most weekends. But we will upgrade a guest when possible of available.

Sorry to hear your stay didn't meet your expectations. We continue to strive for improvement. I hope you'll give us a chance in the future.

I am sorry your stay was less than desirable. Let's address the elephant in your review. We have a small office I don't know if you noticed. It has no a/c as this is an older place so we have to keep a window open or it a sauna and not the type we'd charge extra for. Unfortunately due to the weekends festivities and being fully booked there was a higher rate of the aroma in the general area than normal all weekend long starting on Thursday actually. With law enforcement around town all weekend due to all the traffic and other area misfortunes whom we spoke with several times over the weekend I can tell you without a doubt you are the only complaint we received about that and maybe you should ask if maybe you just weren't very understanding. I do apologize you didn't feel you got what you needed, I can say without a doubt that you didn't bring anything to management attention while on site for us to remedy any of your issues to the best of our abilities, management is on site 24/7. I assure you all of our rooms come with all necessary towels and extra on hand just in case. I can also tell you that if needed we use an actual commercial ozone machine to sanitize and deodorize when needed. Once again I am so very sorry we couldn't meet your needs or come close to your expectations for a pleasant experience despite you completing your reservation. I hope with the knowledge we've shared with one another that you'd gladly give us a second chance.

Ted, I'm so sorry to hear that you were less than happy with our service. Unfortunately, due to limited parking we do strictly enforce our parking to registered guests and at the time your car was stickered we did not have you checked in. We must enforce this so all our registered guests have parking available. As stated on our website check in is at 3pm unless other arrangements have been made and we are able to accommodate. Unfortunately those requests can't always be accommodated. I hope you land your wife were able to enjoy your hike. I'm sorry if your wife with unhappy with the level of service she got when assisted in purchasing passes. I was figuring it out right along with her. Best wishes and safe travels.
