Casa del Mar- Beach House 5 star - Beach at 10 meters - VFT/MA/00095

  • This front line beach house is situated in Butibamba, La Cala de Mijas, flat village along the sea.
    Four double bedrooms, south facing with fantastic sea views. This beach house has the option to cater for up to 8 people. There is a spacious lounge which provides TV /DVD & Free WIFI . The kitchen has full cooking facilities as well as a microwave oven. The house is fully air conditioned supplying hot and cold air. At the front of the house there is a sun terrace where you can dine al fresco looking out to sea, which is 7 meters away.
    The rear terrace provides a washing machine and two 150 ltr water tanks ensuring sufficient water to cater for all your needs. On the first floor there is a balcony where you can relax, read a book or simply watch the boats go by. The house has a well stocked linen cupboard and ample beach towels.
    Should you require a house clean whilst you are on vacation, this can be arranged.

    A popular street market is held every Wednesday and Saturday on the large fairground site which becomes the venue for the annual fair and local fiestas which begin on 25th July.
    La Cala de Mijas is also an excellent base from which to visit Puerto Banus, Marbella, Torremolinos, Fuengirola, Benalmadena and a trip to the beautiful Mijas Pueblo is a must. A bus service runs every 15 minutes which can take you to Fuengirola or Marbella from Cala de Mijas.

    Restaurants
    There are numerous restaurants in and around La Cala, most within easy walking distance or a short car ride away. Every taste is catered for; apart from the traditional Spanish fare including tapas and paella, international cuisine is available including Thai, Chinese, Indian, Italian to name but a few. The beachside chiringuitos serve amazing fresh fish and sea food that is cooked ā€˜espetoā€™ over hot coals; the result is delicious fresh food with amazing views.
    Formal dining is also available at the El Oceano Hotel and the newly opened Oliviaā€™s where music and dancing accompany a great meal.

    Sports
    There is an abundance of sporting and recreational facilities located nearby including golf, horse riding, Padel, tennis and seasonal water sports. Keen golfers are spoilt for choice with competition-standard courses at La Cala, Mijas Golf and El Chaparral. There are numerous other excellent courses in the nearby locality.

This house was amazing! We had 3 adults and 3 kids here for a week. The house was right by the beach, they had beach chairs and umbrellas for us to use. The host was great with communication and met us there. We would definitely stay here again

We couldnā€™t have asked for a better place to stay or more welcoming hosts. The apartment is perfectly situated for a relaxing beach holiday with plenty of sightseeing nearby. Bruno and Marie are wonderful hosts ā€” always very responsive and took great care to make sure we had everything we needed. We highly recommend this rental.

The property is spotless, like home from home. The bed linen was crisp white and towels were soft unlike some propertyā€™s. Can not fault and already booking for next year. Bruno thank you for having us you have a beautiful home and the sea view is a cherry on the cake .

Great holiday

We have been to la Cala many times and stayed in many different types of accommodation I would say Casa Del Mar is probably one of the best for value for money and incredibly clean accommodation. I think it is best suited For 4-6 people.

Short break away

Had a 5 night break away with 5 friends. Property size was perfect/clean/modern along with the location where we were minutes away from shops, bars and restaurants and 10 metres from the beach which was great. Ian was a great host and very attentive. We normally stay around La Cala de Mijas and this was a great choice of property and will hopefully be back soon

A 5 star stay in a wonderfully appointed property

We really couldnā€™t have asked for more, we were a family group of 8 ranging from 9 years through to 84 years old! The property and location are the best we have ever stayed in, there was nothing that wasnā€™t there on hand in the house and the location was right on the beach, canā€™t wait to return. The communication from Ian the owner was first class and Diana who meet us on our arrival couldnā€™t do enough to help us. Magical break would recommend highly!

Casa del Mar was everything we wanted and there was more than sufficient space for our party of 7 adults and 1 child. The location being away from the main square but in very easy walking distance suited us perfectly. The property had everything we needed and more.The kitchen was well stocked with utensils. crockery, cookware, food storage etc., as was the laundry area. It is so close to the beach, popping back to the house was a doddle when you needed anything. There are plenty of great restaurants and beach bars very close to the house, as well as lots more in the centre of La Cala. A small supermarket is a few mins walk away. The outside space was ideal for enjoying the afternoon and evening sun. We couldn't fault communication with the host with our questions answered very quickly during the booking process and post. We highly recommend.

Excellent property, superb location

The host was extremely helpful and available if we needed him. The house was clean, with comfortable beds and plentiful towels. Games, information sheets, books, tv, air con / heating (we stayed in December) if required. Would highly recommend!

Didnā€™t want to leave.

Lovely Beach house with great views, itā€™s impossible to get any closer to the beach and those calming waves lapping the shore. Only a short walk to the town centre with bars,cafes and restaurants within a 2 minute walk. Our stay was only a 5 day golf holiday but we all agreed we wanted to stay longer. Would highly recommend this Beach house for families or groups of friends.

Perfect location and perfect house. It is well equipped and well looked after. The owners checked in to ensure we had no issues. Lots of nice restaurants within 10 mins walk. Peaceful street. We loved it so much we simply had to book again. Highly recommended

Fabulous

Fabulous property in a Fabulous location. This was our groups 2nd stay there. The finishing touches make all the difference as you have everything that you need for your stay. Upon arrival the fridge was full of drinks and milk. Everything was considered from napkins to washing tablets and everything else you may possibly need.

Fantastic house and location

6 friends on a golf holiday. The house was spacious and well equipped and easily catered for 6 adults. The location was perfect, 10 minutes stroll from the town centre. It sits on the promenade adjacent to the beach. We had hired 2 cars for the holiday and had no problem finding parking close to the house. Bruno provided us with everything we needed for check in and departure. I would highly recommend the house.

Mijas Gem

Any one looking at this beach house for a holiday I would strongly recommend it , the house is impressive and very well equipped and immaculately clean and being only 20 yards from the beach and ocean from which the outdoor terrace overlooks. Bruce the host welcomed our family with a glass of fizz and the basics to start your holiday off with which was a lovely gesture the house was very comfortable and spacious as we were a family of 8 adults

Golf trip

Communication with Ian and Bruno was excellent. Bruno couldnā€™t have been more helpful and accommodating on arrival and departure. Casa was excellent, all the amenities youā€™d need including aircon. Superb location, a short stroll to everything around La Cala. Although we didnā€™t try the beach/sea, a little too cold in early March, in the summer just a few steps from the door to the beach. Excellent all round

The most beautiful seafront stay with friends!

From the moment of booking Bruno and Ian made us feel we had made the right choice regarding accommodation and on arrival this was certainly clarified. The location is seriously beautiful as it is right next to the beach and the house it self was just perfect. It was super clean, well designed and had everything we needed and more! Little touches like beach towels and wine in the fridge say it all. Bruno was welcoming and then left us to it. He also allowed us to use the house until 4pm on day of departure due - which was absolutely fantastic. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Fantastic property and location.

From booking through to the actual stay, Ian and Bruno were superb throughout. Any questions were quickly answered and both went above and beyond to ensure the holiday went as smoothly as possible. The apartment met all expectations, clean, well maintained and a fantastic location. To be able to get up in the morning and be able to look out onto the beach was just paradise. The apartment had everything that we could possibly have needed throughout our stay and Bruno was at hand to be able to offer any further assistance if we needed. There were lots of restaurants to choose from, with a good standard of food being offered. There was also good bus services to be able to explore further afield, with the bus stops a short walk away. As 6 adults and one 16yr old, the apartment allowed us plenty of space, whilst allowing us to be together. I would highly recommend this property and the hosts. Would definitely return.
