"Staff at the hotel were superb.. I read some of the comments about five star hotel in previous reviews while the hotel itself may not be a five-star the staff and the service is easily five-star… I laugh at some of the comments…. if you want little slippers and matching housecoat, look like a prince and princess, then go to Palace… the meals were suburban with the first class chef from Brazil… when I came to the restaurant bar you couldn’t want more for service and quality…. awesome place for...

"beautiful property 15 minute walk from pinhao. Wonderful restaurants on site. If you need a taxi seems to be difficult to get and we had to walk there. Staff booked taxi for the next day to get back to pinhao but were reluctant to do so - suggested we call them!! "
"Everyone was welcoming and helpful during our stay. The front desk set up a wine tour and a restaurant reservation for us, which we appreciated. The view from the room was lovely. A coffee option in the room would have been nice, but the breakfast buffet opens at 8 and had many options. The dinner buffet was convenient for a late night arrival. "
"The most magical place I've been to! The hotel is an old estate and they have redone it beautifully. The staff was first class, the food delicious and there were so many activities to sign up for! Spa was impressive with the hydrotherapy, cold plunge and different saunas! We will definitely go back!!"
