"Excellent! Amazingly courteous. One morning I needed to leave early before breakfast and the staff was kind enough to voluntarily prepare a breakfast package and leave it at the front desk for my morning trip. That to me was amazing and highly appreciated!"

"Sterile environment. Hallways were bare white. Staff not very friendly they just followed rules. We could not get a one hr early check in even though the hotel had low occupancy. We had too ask for extra pillows, none in closet. No bath mat. The soap dispenser was on the opposite wall of the sink. Food in main dining room was good not great. They had one waiter for all the diners. It was strange for a supposed five star restaurant. The view was spectacular. The massage we had in the spa was very good. Probably would try somewhere else next time. We felt like a number not a treasured guest. Our hotels in Lisbon and Cascais were excellent "

"The units are very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is set up perfect with all the dinnerware, pots, pans and appliances that you would require. We even had a juicer and we had the most delicious orange juice. The staff was always helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay again!"

"We had a wonderful 8-night stay at Villa Casa do Barão and would happily return.Check-in was very smooth. We actually arrived a bit early and were fortunate to be greeted by one of the cleaners, who kindly gave us a full tour of the villa. That set a great tone for the stay.We were a group of 7 — 4 adults and 3 teenagers — and the layout worked perfectly for us. Each of the kids had their own room, which was especially appreciated as one of them was studying for exams and needed quiet space.We stayed in the old villa, which we loved. It was spacious, full of character, and stayed pleasantly cool throughout the day. All of the beds were comfortable, and the entire place was spotless on arrival.The location is another big plus — just a short walk downhill into the town centre, which made getting around very easy without needing transport.Communication with the team was excellent throughout. Responses were always quick, clear, and helpful, and any queries we had were dealt with promptly.The only minor downside was the oven, which is positioned in a slightly awkward spot — but that’s a small detail in what was otherwise a fantastic stay.We’ve been coming to Carvoeiro for several years, but this was our first time staying in this villa, mainly because of how close it is to town — and we’re very glad we chose it.Overall, a great villa in a brilliant location. Highly recommended."

"Very clean accommodation, great staff who go above and beyond. Pool area is clean and tidy, although the indoor and outdoor pools are not heated. The facility is in need of updating, in some ways this adds to the charm of the Portugese style of the apartments. The bar and restaurant was very quiet in April with no entertainment and closed at 10.30pm. The premises are out of the town and beach, Taxis are approx 7 euros to the beach and the nearest supermarket. 20 minute walk to supermarket and a good 40 minute walk into Carvoeiro. We were a 3 generation family of 7, we booked a one bed and a two bed apartment, they were spacious, clean and very good value."

"Hotel was spotless. Cleaning staff were amazing. Front desk staff could have been a bit more welcoming on arrival. Beautiful hotel right on the beach. Great buffet breakfast every morning. Enjoyed the pool. Definitely want to return. The bars across the street are loud but usually shut the noise down at 11 pm"
