perfect spot for a family visit

Bountiful Cabin

The cabin is lovely, clean and comfortable. The location was very quiet. The 5–acres provided a great spot to exercise our dogs.

Warm and cozy cabin

We thought the warmness and cleanliness of the cabin was excellent. We did encounter an issue with the hot tub but the owners responded very quickly and accommodated us while it was being repaired. I would recommend this cabin for anyone who is looking for a place .. would also be good for kids as their is a big yard and trampoline!

Comfortable and great location

This was a very comfortable house, with all the amenities. Trampoline for the kids, 2 TV's, new fridge, comfortable bed. Glow-in-the-dark stars in the kids room. A couple of jigsaw puzzles to enjoy. A great location that is extremely convenient to I-44. (Just bring your own toilet paper if you need more than 1 or 2 rolls.)

great place

A wonderfully restored old farmhouse. You could tell a lot of work had gone into the restoration. Nice open floor plan. A lot of windows. No interference from the hosts. Close to MO 59 and US 44, but enough trees you do not hear the noise. A good location for a family with children. Nice set up for outside entertainment. Would definitely stay here again if available the next time in Joplin.

Adequate stay

We stayed here for three nights for our daughter’s wedding in Carthage. For the price per night, I did expect a little more than we came into but overall it was adequate for our stay. It’s an older house that has been remodeled and they did a nice job. The yard is huge for kids to run around in. Kitchen is a great place for gathering. Negatives- hot tub definitely needs cleaning. The kitchen lacked some basic cookware to make some casual appetizers. We had to buy some cheap ones and left there for the next families. The windows were nearly impossible to open. The fact there were no blinds on most of the windows was a bit odd. Overall, it fit our basic needs.

Great property. Nice hot tub. Picnic tables in shade. Very clean. Three single beds in one room, one double bed in another room. We slept two boys on the two couches. Nice bathrooms. Good communication.
