Enjoyed our stay in the apartment complex.
Very satisfied with our stay in the apartments. Stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment which had all the facilities we needed. Very friendly staff that answered any questions politely and helpfully. Food was good with plenty of choice although the buffet style could mean it was, on occasion, not hot enough. Good choice of pools and bars.

The 2 bedroom apartment was excellent. Great condition, size and facilities. The pool area was also great, but the maintenance of the pool floor tiles needs to be fixed: many tiles were missing and there were sharp edges. The kids club and evening entertainment was very good. Although my kids struggled with the club as it was almost all Spanish only speaking kids and my two kids could only speak English and Portuguese.

Only problem really was the remote location. For golfers fantastic as right in the middle if two courses. For non golfers its a pleasant 15 minute walk through forrestry and over wetland to the village. The signage qhen driving there is poor.

Interesante opción si no vas a salir del hotel.
Nuestra estancia estuvo muy bien, pero el área de departamentos es inmensa y tiene un solo acceso, supongo que pir seguridad. Esto hace complicado llevar y traer el equipaje al arribo y a la partida.

Good location but understaffed
The location is very good being right in front of a golf course and tucked into an area close to a natural reserve. The bird life for whomever enjoys it, is fantastic there. I don’t think i will come back to that resort though. The first flat i was given was overlooking the parking so i asked for a better. location. The receptionist was very helpful. But the flat key wasnt working, i had to go back to get a new one. The falt is otherwise comfortable and the bed situation very good. Unfortunately, early morning on my second day, the stove blew up as i was cooking my eggs. When i went down to reception, the receptionist sent a maintenance person quickly. He couldnt repair it straight away for security reasons. So i reported this at 8am but it wasnt fixed before 11am. A well trained staff would have offered a breakfast coupon. The spa experience was very disappointing too, the sauna and steam bath were not functional. I reported it so the spa receptionist offered a refund. I think the gardens are lovely, very well maintained and i applaud the landscaping team. Apart from that, the place is sadly understaffed. Resulting in the customer feeling like nothing runs as smoothly as it could.

Booked here due to attending a wedding nearby. Apartment was in great condition and the kitchen had everything you needed. Very nice pool. Only ate in the buffet restaurant once for breakfast and it was extremely busy.

Wonderful holiday
We spent a month in El Rompido and loved it. Beautiful area with excellent beaches and other activities. Close to Punta Umbria and El Portil. Great places to eat. We loved the resort too. Made to feel welcome. Quickly changed our apartment when we asked to move. Provided iron and extra pot and glasses. Downside sweeping snd cleaning - floors very poor also wardrobes skirtings dusty. No ironing boards apart from one in the laundry but difficult to access unless you can get the key. The on site super market is very over priced. Excellent selection of supermarkets in the area. Recommend using them. The laundry only has one washing machine and tumble dryer and each time it’s in use the person can have the key for 24hours! You can’t book it in advance either. Not great for long stays.

We stayed here as a stopgap when travelling to Portugal, booked the apartment to keep prices down and then everything else was extremely expensive! Very nice area though and hotel was excellent, so stay in the hotel not the apartments!!

All the bells and whistles
This place is just lovely. Superior room comfort, fabulous staff throughout, ambiance, class, entertainment, the works. The dinner buffet was a little pricey at €25/each without drinks however, it was delicious! 2 thumbs up.

Dreadful room, uncomfortable in every way. Apartment with nonworking and broken facilities, AC no use, bathroom floods. Awful beds. Really badly signed large complex, car park to apartment a really long way with no available help or trolleys. Did not bother with the restaurant, did not look good

Anyone fore golf
A good place to stay for a golf trip,nice hotel with good facilities. Stayed in apartment block away from main hotel,rooms good size with hob,microwave and fridge,one bed apartment would sleep three with room for golf gear,however beds were not the most comfortable. Food in the hotel bar and Italian restaurant was average to bad but it is only a short walk to the town with several good restaurants. So all in all not bad but could be, with a few minor tweaks such as wifi that works in the rooms and better mattresses, a lot better

Great for families and friends
Stayed on the apartments: modern, simple but cozy, good swimming pools available, a mini-market with the basic essentials. Fairly close to the village, but you had to take your car if you wanted to go there at night. The hotel has a small tram to take you to the boat that will take you to the beach, and the all trip is free of charge for the hotel guests. All very well combined, you don't have to wait long.Please note that it only runs during the day. Only "not so good" comment is about the food - a bit improvement wouldn't hurt, in variety and preparation. Specially if you're going there for a whole week, it comes to a point when you wish they had better chefs on site. "Average and common" would be my note to the food and drinks.

A pretty decent resort
We stayed in the apartment so have no idea about the hotel, but overall is clean and quite spacious. Would recommend when driving to this resort is to drive during the day because it is not easy to find during the night. This resort is designed for the astute golfer, with great courses on offer. Pretty sure during summer there will be plenty of other activities for the rest of the family

The hotel is strongly geared towards the Golfers,but there is plenty to do if you are a non-golfer.There are 2 courses at the resort,the North course, which is a tough test for all handicaps, quite long with very fast greens, and i mean very fast!. The South course,which is very picturesque, is a very fair course and suits golfers of all ages and handicaps. The Hotel facilities, and the staff were of the very best that i have ever had the pleasure to be involved with. 10 out of 10!.

High quality and affordable
This was short, two-night, stopover. We were allocated a larger suite than we had booked and enjoyed the extra space. It was February so there were limited options. The hotel could do to have more signs for the route to the small town of El Rompido but it was nice enough for me to feel that I would use it again if in the area.

hopefully, never again.
We stayed at this hotel for a week. Very quiet neighbourhood, good for golf. No activities, swimming pool closed as per low season. no interior swimming pool as advertised, just a spa. not many guests, but the ones they were on our floor were quite noisy, at night. The apartments don't offer double bed, only two single beds, and there was no kettle,napkins, washing liquid (at least for the first day), the ceiling in the bathroom was really bad,I took a couple of pictures of it, just in case They promised us to fetch a kettle, but it never happened. If I will stay again? No.

great resort for sporting folks but a remote resort in a tiny hamlet. it is around a mile from the tiny village which is lovely but transport links are not good so does demand either a hire car or being able to walk

The club apartments are not 5 star
This is a hotel for golfers not much else around, ye,ll really need a car to get around as there is not much around,, the room has metal tables and chairs not very welcoming,, the walls are very thin,, the WiFi is patchy, not very good aircon. tap pressure in bathroom is great but has been seriously reduced going into the shower and runs hot and cold every few seconds "uncomfortable" ... ... very very hard beds "really uncomfortable"

I think the hotel got their 4 stars from their facilities such as a comprehensive childrens club which we used, and their swimming pools rather than from their room comfort. Rooms were basic and adequate for our short stay, but very few utensils in the kitchenette and we had to ask for a kettle. So bring your own cups and washing/cleaning up ítems as the maids do not clean the kitchenette.
