"Very nice house in a beautiful, quiet location. The house is older, but well maintained with beautiful decor. The kitchen is well stocked, but the bathrooms were limited.. no hairdryer, or soap in the showers. The TV had a glitch, it worked but was sort of irritating to watch because of the glitch. Overall we truly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely stay again."

The kitchen is very well equipped despite not having a stove/oven, and it’s clear the owners have put in every effort to make sure you have everything you need. We mostly missed out on the absolutely beautiful mt. hood views due to rain - I guess we’ll have to visit again soon!"

"This spotlessly clean home is set far off the road in a woodland setting along a river. The large windows and light-colored wood make the home feel bright and cheery even on overcast days. The kitchen is well-supplied with nice cook ware and there is plenty of seating at the dining table. Our family (3-year old grandson, son/daughter-in-law, ourselves) had plenty of comfortable private and shared space. "The house had everything we could possibly need for our stay. The furnishings, the beds and bedding, the kitchen supplies - all were great. We had one sunny day when we enjoyed the magnificent view from the deck. When the rains came on day two, the view was different, but still beautiful. The location is wonderful, and we were able to easily explore Hood River, White Salmon, and the surrounding areas. Would definitely rent here again."

The decor in unit is welcoming and sufficient for all of us. Furniture is a bit worn. Would be great to have a bigger bed in master and more pillows available. I called in two maintenance issues and property manager was extremely responsive"

"We enjoyed our stay. The check in process was easy and we liked the location. However, it could have been a little cleaner. The back yard needs a lot of attention and there was quite a bit of dog poop that we had to clean up on arrival to the house."

Location is central to everything, you can walk to the river and around town--no problem. There are a lot of stairs in the unit, it didn't bother us, just something to be aware of.
