Hotel was really nice and convenient to everything we wanted to do in the area. Very quiet and peaceful. Bed was a little uncomfortable, but that's a personal preference thing and I won't fault them for that. Really nice staff and easy check in and check out. Would definitely return!

A special weekend

Nice room overlooking the water, had issues with the A/C when we first arrived but the staff took excellent care of getting it resolved and made our stay very inviting. We Will be staying here again for sure!!

Nice stay

After check in there was no more service for hospitality. Friendly people and nice area. Grocery store very close and a couple great bars nearby. Beautiful beach a mile away.

The forgotten Coast is unbelievable

My friend and I were traveling from Pensacola to Chiefland Florida. This was a beautiful drive to a wonderful Half Point mark. Morris Landing is a quaint beautiful setting Hotel. It is basic amenities but they're clean and recently redone. The view is an incredible and the staff are very friendly

Lovely couple running the property now. It's being fixed up after many years of disrepair, and now is clean and simple. Rooms are super comfortable. Easy access to the river and you can sit on your back porch to watch the sun set. Lovely.

Good for a quick overnight. It was nice to stay on a marina. Property and rooms were dated, new owners are sprucing it up. Disappointed to have a coffee machine, but no coffee cups. Floor hadn’t been washed in a while and bed sagged in the middle.

Bring cleaning supplies

Well, the floor was unbelievably dirty, my husbands socks were black for the dirt on the floor, we went to dollar general and bought a swifter and two packs of wet scrubbers, some pots to fix the bed, center bars of bed frame wheels were broke off. Not enough towels and outside light shined in our room like the sun. Toilet seat was stained with orange something, I cleaned it as well as the rest of the room twice, and the floor three times to get it clean. If it wasn’t for the view and the quiet we would have taken the loss and went to a different hotel, finding the office would have been easier if the sign said mooring hotel office, it said mooring marina office. The ice machine was not working and one washer for the laundry that had enough room for four pairs of jeans. The employees were very helpful. Needed card keys to get into gate to do laundry, a different key card to get to do laundry,
Noticed the bed looked not level, sat on the bed and the center was lower than the outside, looked under the bed and the wheels were missing from the center as well as bent. Did not feel like walking a block to complain and move all of our stuff, so.

Quaint hotel on marina with old Florida charm. Room was very clean but also very musty - mildew coming from AC unit was overwhelming. Bed was awful - literally lumpy with loose headboard that sounded like an accordion when you moved at all. We wedged towels to shut it up. Almost left to pay to stay at a second hotel.

Very outdated room, it had been cleaned but not a recent deep clean, paint peeling bad around bathtub area, coffee pot was not cleaned well. It definitely needs more updates for the price they are charging. Tried to check out a day early but was told no since reservations made through hotels.com

For the price we expected a good nights sleep but because the blinds were broken and someone tried to fix it with a fishing hook so it’s been like that a while. The light outside the window was on all night so we did not get a good sleep. I recommend they invest in some privacy blackout curtains. Also the pillows looked a bit stained I suggest pillow covers that zip up. There’s a big stain in the carpet right when you come in that gives a bad impression right of the start. It smelt like chemical.

We stayed here over the 4th of July holiday weekend and there was an awesome display of fireworks that we could watch right from the pool! That was very nice and we didn’t have to go anywhere. We also liked that it had a marina so we could leave our boat in the water right in front of our room. However, the area around the docks and getting from your boat to the hotel were not very good. It was very hard to navigate your way from the boat slips back up to the hotel. And everything was rickety and falling apart or non existent. The fences were falling down and looked like if you touched them they would fall over and nothing looked or felt very safe. No clear walk ways or docks to get from one side to the other. Definitely needs to be updated. The room was very very damp! A whole lot of moisture in the room and our clothes and the sheets felt wet. The room had a smell too. Not sure if it was from the moisture or from the indoor outdoor type carpet that looked fairly new. The room did feel and look clean though other than the dampness. Nice view from the balcony. The pool was pretty big, clean, and clear but the pool deck and chairs could use some cleaning. It was convenient and affordable. It could be a really nice place with a little updating and TLC!

Schönes und großes Zimmer mit Blick auf die Marina. Der Sonnenuntergang war toll. Das Personal war sehr nett. Ein zweiter Stuhl für die Terrasse waren noch ein Bonus gewesen. Einziger Punkt. Unser Zimmer lag direkt an der Straße. Zum Glück hatte ich Ohropax dabei, damit war ein guter Schlaf kein Problem
