"I was there for work got a king bed and it was very comfortable. What little staff interaction I had was pleasant and I found the town charming. The hotel is definitely the best place to stay but the restaurant…the shrimp and grits was not what I expected at the price I paid and how uncomplicated the dish is. Coda talking to you- step up your game. It’s either that or play your A game every day because I did not get your A game. "

"Positive: clean and easy check in Negative: bathroom toilet (tiny toilet), tile, tub from maybe 1980s. Big gaps in door and thin windows where you could hear everything outside. Outside there was trash from the Blue Parrot that sat there for 3 days. BIG negative: got charged an additional $250 because they claim we smoked marijuana in the room but we did NOT! I asked for photo evidence and they provided photos that showed zero proof. We are disputing this."

"We had an amazing, relaxing time! We loved this house, and will definitely be back! This was the perfect place for our family of four and a dog. We cooked almost all of our meals and ate on the screened in back porch. The front porch was so peaceful for a morning cup of coffee. The short walk to the beach is easy and we loved the secluded feeling the beach provides. Roger was an excellent host! He checked in with us to make sure everything was perfect (and it was!) and was very kind. Wish we could have stayed longer, but looking forward to the next time! "
