"A beautiful job of blending the historic with the new additions. Beautiful pool and hot tub. The billiard tables were an unusual surprise. All staff were helpful. Sitting in a rocker on the veranda was delightful. I was very surprised being this hotel is newly built and restored that the shower pressure would drop when another guest in another room would turn on their shower. Our last night the guests in the room above were noisy. We could hear their heavy feet and tv. The rooms are not soundproof."

The Staff was excellent, Ms. Rebecca Jean was the highlight of the place, very professional and loves what she does. She gave great advice of the town and some good history. Ms. Rebecca was a great hostess, the hospitality of the city was great. I have already since I've been home and told everyone about Coombs. I'll be back definitely, Thanks...."

"I was given a room that the TV did not work and when I told the Staff...SORRY. The Staff did not offer another room. The room itself had no heat settings in the room itself. I froze that night. I will not be back. This Hotel is a bummer of a stay!"

"Older building, outdated bathrooms, old bedding. Great location but in need of some TLC. Another guest was complaining about the cleanliness of his room when we were checking in, our room was ok. Sand on the floor, bathroom smelled a little like urine and the whole floor needed a good scrubbing. Also the ice machine on property there is a charge. "
