"I wish I could post pictures! This place was cold and dirty! I called the front desk begging them to cut off the air conditioner. I told them I had a bad back and more to the point my teeth were chattering because of being cold! NOTHING! THE PLACE IS IN NEED OF A GOOD CLEANING. BOTH OF US HAVE ISSUES WITH DUST, ALLERGIES! Between the extreme cold and dust, we missed one day of being able to go out. That was bad! On the home page... THE HOME PAGE WAS A BEAUTIFUL GAZEBO! WE PICKED THIS HOTEL BECAUSE OF THAT GAZEBO! WE DECIDED TO REDO OUR VOWS, DRESSED IN MY GOWN AND MY BELOVED'S TUX, IN FLORIDA HEAT! WE STAYED AN EXTRA DAY JUST TO DO THAT. NOT TO MENTION NOT BEING ABLE TO MOVE BECAUSE OF THE COLDNESS IN THE ROOM! HOWEVER...WE DROVE AROUND LOOKING FOR THAT HUGE GAZEBO! AFTER 20 MINUTES WE FINALLY CALLED THE OFFICE! WE WERE TOLD THIS GAZEBO WAS TORN DOWN YEARS AGO! YEARS AGO! WHY WAS IT STILL ON THEIR HOME PAGE? COOMBS RESPONSE TO ALL OF THIS...LESS THAN ANYONE SHOULD EXPECT. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL! OHHHHHHH,,,,,,,,,, THE WALLS ARE THIN! WE HEARD THE FAMILY NEXT TO US DOING EVERYTHING! WE DO HAVE PUCTURES AND WILL POST THEM EVERY PLACE WE CAN! THEY APOLOGIZED ABOUT THE GAZEBO PICTURE STILL BEING ON THE HOME PAGE! ONE WEEK LATER... IT'S STILL THERE! HMMMMMMMM"

"My experience at this property was disappointing due to significant communication and organizational issues. There is no traditional front desk or on-site reception, and guests are required to call ahead to notify staff of their arrival and arrange check-in. While this may work for some travelers, it was not clearly communicated and created unnecessary confusion. The most concerning issue occurred when the property incorrectly accused members of my group of conduct that did not take place. It appeared that staff may have confused our reservation with another party, resulting in an uncomfortable and frustrating situation. Despite our efforts to clarify the misunderstanding, the experience left us questioning the accuracy of their record-keeping and guest management procedures. Throughout our stay, communication was inconsistent, and the overall operation felt disorganized and chaotic. The lack of clear processes and the apparent mix-up involving our reservation created stress that could have been avoided with better management and attention to detail. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this property to travelers who value professionalism, organization, and clear communication. There appear to be operational issues that need to be addressed to ensure guests are treated fairly and reservations are managed accurately."

"The Inn was a wonderful surprise. Updated, clean with historic charms and right in the center of town. Walking distance to dining, shops and the wharf. They had a lovely pool and our room was lovely. The dining (breakfast) experience could have been better, but the bar was fun for an evening nightcap. Bonus: great oyster bar right across the street!"

"Lovely accommodations however, they changed our key code after the first nights stay and then it wouldn’t work. We came in late and couldn’t get into our room. No one would answer the 1-800 number. If the restaurant staff had not still been cleaning the restaurant after 10:00pm I don’t know what we would have done. There is no one there to help you if there is a problem or if you need a master key! And their number proved to be useless. Was thankful for the restaurant staff for all of their help in trying to get someone to help us get in. The restaurant is also very expensive to eat at. My husband and I shared a pasta and we both drank water. So three entrees, a kids meal and appetizer was a$170.00 after tip. Can’t afford to eat there but there isn’t much else around. Pool was great and property is always clean and well maintained. Staff is very friendly. Nice place for the money."
