Hunedoara in Romania is home to what might be one of Europe's most spectacular castles, Corvin Castle. The city itself ain't overly exciting but offers plenty of cheap places to stay. Definitely worth a visit!

Bigar waterfall in Romania is definitely a hidden gem. It's quite small and perhaps not as impressive as some of the larger waterfalls but its setting in the lush forest makes it just as magical. Worth a visit for sure! Having your own wheels and an updated gps map certainly helps. #waterlust
