Your home was cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed the whole house but our favorite place was the back deck. We’ll be back next year but for 3 weeks next time.

We absolutely loved this property. The view is simply stunning - what a treat to wake up every morning to the Lake!! The house is well-equipped with high-quality finishings and furniture. The check-in process and provisions were perfectly smooth. It snowed over night while we were there and the snow removal service came in a timely manner the next morning. I can't recommend this property enough and look forward to visiting again.
We enjoyed our stay! Nice to show up & have bottle of wine, tons ice, lots of fans, new kitchen sponge, great sheets on beds & best of all was outdoor deck with comfortable seating, firepit & the view!! Thank you!

Breathtaking
Had an amazing time with my family. All the amenities you could ever want away from home. Huge luxurious space. 10/10.
Would like to buy the property - just son and I use to live in Tahoe city he attended Squaw prep and we are looking back to moving to Tahoe city. We are very interested in buying the property if the owners will sell. Even minus having a garage
This home is beautiful with furnishings that are inviting, comfortable and attractive. The lake view was gorgeous, both from inside the house and from outside on the deck. The fire pit, comfy outdoor seating, blankets and string lights turned the deck into an oasis of relaxation in the evenings.
Travelers should be aware that the upstairs bedroom suite is not completely private because the fireplace is see through to the living area. A decorative fireplace screen would help in that regard. Another concern about the upstairs bedroom is it's very bright in the morning because the windows face east, and the wooden blinds/shutters allow in a lot of light from quite early in summer. We enjoyed the lovely upstairs bathroom and sitting area, found the kitchen to be well-appointed, and appreciated the proximity to the lake and the amenities of Tahoe City. But it's the lake view, framed by beautiful redwood trees, that will most live on in our memories. We would happily return!
The home is spacious, clean, and beautifully situated on hill-top with spectacular unobstructed view of the lake with a backdrop of snow-capped mountains. Amazing. The beds are comfortable, pillows, blankets great quality and the home is very well cared for with all necessary tools and equipment to cook a great meal. Has high quality details throughout from appliances to bathroom amenities. Great shower!! One negative was that there were no outdoor furniture. Had to use my own beach chairs. And the fire pit shown on cover photo is non-operative. A little disappointed since it’s all about that view! And sitting outside is the highlight of the day. Sunsets and sunrises! Favorite moments for us was sipping coffee or drinking wine looking at that view. Watch out for bears! One big bear walked pass onto the property’s yard looking for food. Saw coyotes, a few bald eagles (yes. Real large bald eagles, amazing) and lots of colorful birds. Respect the wild life it’s their home too!

Disappointing Stay: Missing Amenities and Poor Cleanliness
We were excited to stay at this home, but our experience didn’t meet expectations. The fireplace on the deck, which was advertised and a key reason we booked, was missing. The patio furniture had no cushions, so it was unusable, and the string lights didn’t work, making the outdoor space uninviting.Cleanliness was another major issue. The downstairs had spiders in every room—beds, showers, linens—and a large pile of dead ants in the living room. We found human hairs in the toilets and sinks, and the bed skirt in one bedroom had unsanitary stains, which was especially upsetting. The towels were stained and smelled, and the living room couch had a musty odor. While we understand being in nature comes with some bugs, the amount of spiders and constant reappearance was beyond what’s acceptable, especially at this price point. Regular pest control seems essential here.Overall, the home itself is beautiful and has potential, but with the cleanliness issues, missing amenities, and the lack of response from the host, we were left very disappointed. If these concerns were addressed, we’d be open to returning, but as it stands, the stay did not live up to what was promised or expected.
The house was in a beautiful location, with an awesome view of Lake Tahoe. Our visit happened to be during a record heat wave. The cabin does not have air conditioning, which made it very uncomfortable. We opened windows and used the fans that were provided but still couldn’t get the house below 80 degrees. The kitchen has been remodeled and was well equipped. Nice location with proximity to destinations within the north shore.
The property is beautiful and the lake view absolutely amazing. The house is spacious with a large general for the whole family to gather but also designed for privacy as well. The house is nicely decorated as well. The fire pit on the balcony was my favorite. The house is easy to find
I would definitely recommend this property and would stay again myself. Thank you to the owners for sharing their wonderful home with us!
Great views of the lake from the main living area. Nicely appointed kitchen. Large, comfy bedrooms. Nice, large TVs. Solid WiFi access. Good time had by all.
What a wonderful rental! The view from the deck was beautiful and this was our favorite place to relax. The rental was located away from town (which we prefer) but close enough to be convenient (short drive). The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. The welcome basket and note were a nice classy touch - thank you!
Very tidy and beautiful house equipped with everything you need. Beautiful views. Loved the deck with comfortable outdoor sofa and fireplace. We spent most of our evenings there. Very relaxing and calm. Highly recommend this place.
This property was exactly what we needed and exceeded many of our expectations. The owners even left us the best most welcoming basket of beautiful treats to enjoy throughout our stay. The kitchen was well stocked too, which was great. The house itself was spacious and the living room and set up was perfect for our family. It was all topped with literally one of the most gorgeous views off the deck that we’ve ever seen. It’s a great location to grocery stores, skiing and snow sports too! We would love to come back!!
My family had an amazing stay at this house. The view was absolutely incredible and was serene and peaceful at all hours of the day. The property was very clean and as described and had everything we needed! The only *minor* downsides are the road noise and the kitchen is a little small if you have a really big family (we were fine with 5!). I wouldn't let that stop you though, we will definitely be back!
Nice property with a fantastic view of the lake. There were a few issues with streaming but this could have been a provider issue.
Water pressure on the lower floor was significantly less than the main floor.
Overall a nice place and the view of the lake makes it !!!
