"Such a gorgeous place to enjoy the town of Santa Teresa! The home is private, spotless and very comfortable for 6-adults/children. The pool and common areas are exactly what you want to enjoy your stay in CR. Just a great set up with all the amenities you need for cooking, relaxing and having privacy when you need it. The view is superb and the outdoor dining with the pool to relax in makes this a very special place. Shops, restaurants and miles of beachfront are all within walking distance. Renting an ATV is Ideal, fun and very convenient to travel the entire southern region. But the star of the show is the host, Stefanie! A very personal welcome to ensure a smooth and easy check in. Explaining all features of the home, area recommendations. Without a doubt, ensure you have a 4X4 vehicle for the short main access driveway. No 2X4 vehicle can make the drive up the 200-meter road! Stephanie helped resolve that issue and even gave us secure, private parking at the bottom of the hill while we rented an ATV for all our access during the visit. Stefanie was very sincere in ensuring our stay and any questions were answered without haste! She is a Rock Star supporting many properties and one of the best Host I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Simply a wonderful individual! Jairo's attentiveness to maintaining the grounds was super transparent. Always ensuring first that he did not interfere with any activities in while occupying the home! Don't miss out!"

"We had an amazing stay at Fuego Lodge in Santa Teresa and would absolutely recommend it! The property is incredibly clean and well-maintained, which made it feel comfortable and relaxing right from the start. The location is perfect—right in the heart of Santa Teresa—so everything you need is close by. It’s also just a quick 2-minute walk to Lifeguards Gym, which was a huge bonus for us. The staff were truly outstanding—super friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. They really made the experience feel personal. The pool area is beautiful and a great place to unwind, surrounded by lush vegetation that gives the whole place a peaceful jungle vibe. It feels like a little oasis. My wife and I have traveled all over the world and both agreed this was one of the coolest places we have ever stayed at! Breakfast each morning was delicious, with plenty of options to choose from, plus a great coffee and tea station to start the day right. Overall, a 5-star experience—we’d definitely stay here again"

"We went for the standard room but it was beautiful and spacious and very clean. They came twice a day to service the rooms and did a wonderful job. The pool is the best we have ever experienced… always a lovely temperature and great design. Areas for improvement: more sun beds around the pool (a couple of times there were none available) and yoga should be included free of charge for guests. Every other hotel we stayed in during our trip had this included - when you pay a lot for the room you don’t expect to be charged for these services. "

"This is a gem in Santa Teresa. The staff are all superb my kids loved the surf instructor (Diego is amazing) and I loved the morning yoga instructor (Daniella is superb) a great way to start your day and spend the whole day with attentive and professional staff. You will never regret staying here and the kids are already asking me if we can come back again next year. A brand new hotel who already have got it all together the small guest amenities (watermelon water throughout the property) and chic design work together with direct beach front property. It was hard to leave but we will definitely be back. Pura Vida, Team Fermata!"

"The room was great and the pool is alright it definitely needs an upgrade on the beach chairs and there isn’t a nice view from the pool unfortunately. Unfortunately the restaurant had just burned down 5 days prior but they made a pop up kitchen so they still have great options! The staff were really friendly as well! "
