This is an amazing hotel. Located inside a top winery, it has only 5 guest rooms which are quite large and beautifully furnished.
The place is about 15 Km from the city of Carmelo so it is quiet and excellent to relax.
The winery produces some outstanding wines and carry their own brand of Cognac, dulce de leche, cheeses and other goods. All are delicious and of top quality.
The restaurant is very good. A special mention is deserved for the tasting menu with wine pairing. Not quite a Michelin star restaurant but it has the potential. The chef on that particular evening was outstanding.
The staff is very helpful and friendly, and they took care of all our needs.
With only a couple of details they could have a 10 rating. They are really minor but for this review they get a 9.6
I would definitely stay there again.
Excelente, tudo funcionou perfeitamente!
Lack of night security was troubling. Unstable staircase to room. Had to ask for the pool to be cleaned and pumps switched on. Zero response to written 15 complaints about the room which had a broken showerhead.
Local encantador e confortável. Comida boa.
This was an outstanding stay for two nights. The hotel is within the winery and attention to detail within the hotel is fantastic. The service is really excellent, the accommodation is very spacious and very comfortable and the situation is superb. The views of the winery from the room (Rosé) were superb, with a wonderful sunset. There are only a few rooms, so no sense of being crowded. A very relaxing couple of days.
We will go back.
Beautiful place! Reception staff very sweet!
Food was subpar for lunch, they were out of bread basket. No one came to greet us when we got to the restaurant at dinnertime so we sat ourselves and then ended leaving because none of the waiters came to our table.
This is a Tourist Trap and not worthy of the Relais and Chateau Brand. Restaurant only sold own wine which was over priced, bed linen and towels low quality, charges for extras such as wine tasting very high. Bikes available are in poor condition. Most guests only appear to stay for one night and that’s about all would encourage.
It is the most gorgeous property! Our room was huge and we had a fireplace that they refilled daily. We asked for a demo of how to make empanadas and the chef excitedly complied. They encourage you to treat the property as your own and nothing is off limits.
Felt like home!
