Red Roof Inn in Carlsbad

"We really enjoyed our stay here (which was 4 days) as a family! The gentleman who checked us in was nice and we never had any negative reactions with any of the employees. The waterpark was very important to us since we was there over a holiday weekend! And, although it rained we had a great time! Ride the slide...it is fun! The room was spacious, clean, the bed was comfortable and the ac was cold. They also have nice grill and picnic sections (bring charcoal). The ONLY negative was that they say there's a restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, a grocery store, and gas station in super close proximity...and it is. BUT, they failed to say the restaurant has super weird hours and isn't open for dinner. We didn't find out until check in. We decided that's okay and went across to the street to the grocery store thinking we'd get some microwave food or cheap eats...that was also not true. The grocery store was barely a store at all. We had to drive 30 minutes back to Carlsbad everytime we wanted food. And, no there is no delivery services. We did find a walmart and dollar tree...so, just be aware if you're coming from Carlsbad, stop and get some groceries/food before check in! "

"I liked it was close to the area we needed. Went to The Brewing Company to eat. AmaZING food and great entertainment. The room itself, was not a queen bed, but a full size bed. The room was very clean. The staff were very kind and helpful. They do have a continental breakfast, they also make a nice breakfast burrito. Thank you."

"They had some renovations going on but the location was perfect. Our room was clean. Staff was helpful. Food was close by. We were comfortable and had what we needed. The price was good for what we got."
