Con : The room didn’t have a safe inside it. Plusses: the room had a fridge, microwave, dish ware glassware utensils, AND a dishwasher.TONS OF DRAWERS AND PLACES FOR STORING SUITCASES PLUS 2 open closets. Also a comfy couch for hanging out. All employees were very nice.Highly recommend.

Service was great!! The hotel looked very new, and it was a great base for exploring nearby Carlsbad caverns and Guadalupe mountains national park. The breakfast each morning was very nice. The room was very spacious with a nice glass shower. The only small negative was we found a few hairs that were not ours in the bed sheets and shower. We very much enjoyed our stay overall.

Hotel was clean and convenient. Breakfast was nice and they have a laundry. It’s close to Carlsbad Cavern so you can get an early start.

Hotel is great, but town is CarlsBAD.
Not a lot of great things to say about the town of CarlsBad, NM. The hotel was clean, modern, and fresh. No reason to go to CarlsBad other than the Caverns. About 25 miles from the caverns, pretty close to Walmart, better service at the hotel than any of the restaurants in the area.

The property is clean and new. Unfortunately my room wasn't ready when i arrived. I was told to wait 30 minutes even though I arrived after check in time. Then around 7 pm the fire alarm went off and the hotel was evacuated. There was no communication from anyone at the hotel. I finally found a manager to talk to and she said she called the fire department. They never showed up so i doubt they were actually called. Eventually the alarm stopped and she said everyone could return to their room. With no fire officials present, this does not feel safe. Im sitting in the hotel right now and my family just made a plan in case it happens again overnight. To top it off, the first family member to take a shower ran out of hot water. Im sorry but thats 3 strikes.

Sean,I am happy to know you loved our hotel. Extremely sorry about the wait on your room. We are trying our best to manage late checkouts and cleaning schedule in a timely manner. The Fire Alarm emergency is a very sensitive situation. We had to evacuate everyone for your safety which is our priority. Fire Department were contacted automatically, and I had followed up as well. After confirming that there was no fire, the system was reset by our Monitoring company and Fire Department were informed by the company. Once the building was safe and I acknowledged the alarm system to quiet down, I was able to let everyone in. In no way would I give you any false information especially in a matter of urgency. I will be happy to show you the evidence of our calls to the Fire Company if you stop by at the front desk. Hope you got good sleep after this incident as I had confirmed and assured the building was safe for all guests present here.Thank you for choosing Home2 Suites in Carlsbad NM.

Great home base for our National Park tour of White Sands, Guadalupe Mountains and Carlsberg Canyons. Hotel was comfortable and clean. Would stay there again if ever in the area again.

Lanny,It was nice having you all. We have 6 different toppings for Yogurt, and we keep rotating them. Other than egg products we had other hot options as well which didn't have peppers. These items come pre-made and are Hilton approved. The sandwiches were pepper free as well. If you wish to come back in near future, I will make sure we are prepared with other pepper free options in eggs and more Granola toppings. Thanks.

This is a gorgeous property. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the amenities are many. From breakfast each morning to a full kitchen in our room and a nice gym, we found everything our family needed during our stay.
