The property at Stuart Manor is amazing. Beautiful restored home, comfortable bed, clean room and bathroom, wonderful breakfast, and such nice owners that make you feel at home. My favorite place to stay when I'm visiting family in Carlisle.

Russell went out of his way to make our stay perfect. We’ve never stayed at a B&B but now I’m converted and will only stay at one now! The home was beautiful, the grounds phenomenal, breakfast was delish and perfect. I’d 100% recommend this place!

Everything about our stay was excellent. Our room was lovely and very comfortable. The bath was so luxurious! The Manor was meticulous and beautifully decorated. Russell was an amazing host and chef, breakfast was spectacular. We also had the pleasure of meeting other happy travelers.

This is a beautiful property both outside and in. The proprietors were friendly and respectful. The pool and patio with the surrounding gardens are very peaceful and relaxing. The house is well insulated for noise. We didn’t know there were 6 other people staying there until we met them in the dinning room for a delicious breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay and, have already told our family and friends to stay there when traveling in the area.

If you are looking for a b&b in the Carlisle area look no further. For starters, Russel the host is squared away, he immediately made us feel at home. The property is magnificent, from the patio/pool area to the beautiful views surrounding the the home. The room was beautiful and super clean and comfortable. The breakfast was phenomenal, you will not be disappointed. Our next trip to Carlisle we will be returning.

Our stay at Stuart Manor was absolutely amazing. The house is beautiful and grand. The room was luxurious and well appointed. The hosts went out of their way to make our stay super memorable. Can't recommend it enough if you are in the Carlisle area.

Beautiful Property

This property is incredibly beautiful. We stayed in a room with a high-tech shower and soaking/jetted tub. The decor is extravagant. The owners are friendly, and breakfast was delicious. We will return very soon!

My wife and I had a wonderful experience staying as Stuart Manor. The hospitality was beyond our expectations. The breakfast was delicious. The two small dogs added to the experience in the most positive way. Living in the area, we learned some interesting facts and do plan on returning for another getaway.

Exquisite! This place is so lovely. The owners are so nice and accommodating. The house is gorgeous and our room was perfect. The breakfast in the impeccably decorated dining room was delicious. Beautiful spaces outside with a pool, koi pond and large patio. Wonderfully decorated living spaces inside to sit and relax. Can't recommend it enough. We are definitely going to be back for a longer stay.

Stuart Manor is perfect! Beautiful garden, grounds and pool outside and creatively restored inside. An old house with all the modern amenities. Russell is a kind and gracious host. Each morning he prepared a delicious breakfast presented on vintage china and served in the gorgeous dining room. The property is conveniently located for exploring a variety of Pennsylvania attractions. Simply the BEST bnb experience we've had!

Perfect romantic getaway for our anniversary!

I wanted to surprise my wife by booking a one-night weekend getaway to make her feel special for our 25th wedding anniversary - and Russell and Will definitely came through! The atmosphere couldn't have been any more welcoming, and the manor itself is spacious, immaculate, and filled with touches of history. They even had a complimentary bottle of chardonnay waiting for us on ice when we arrived! As a bonus, downtown Carlisle with all of its quaint shops and wonderful restaurants is just a short drive away. We definitely recommend Stuart Manor, and look forward to returning!

Elegance in the countryside

A beautiful and elegant old home in the Pennsylvania countryside with lovely views of the mountains and wonderful gardens, convenient to tiwn and the college but awaty from the hubbub.. Our room was not large but very adequate, cozy and comfortable bed. Would have liked some glasses and tissues in bathroom. Nice coffee and snack bar out in the hallway.Wish we had had more time and better weather to enjoy the lovely outdoor patio area and pool -and to view all the interior decor and furnishings. A real gallery! A very tasty and filling breakfast cooked by our host completed our visit.

A Slice of Paradise

We did not expect to find such an amazing B and B, with such a beautiful garden. This may be our favorite stay ever. The ornately decorated house is like a museum and each room is beautifully appointed. Or bed was a dream and the shower was amazing. The owners do not skimp on the guests' comfort. A highlight of the house is the extensive garden and pool area, with flowers, birds, butterflies, and a koi pond that gives a feeling of serenity. Russ and Will were able to recommend many nearby places to eat. Sitting around the gas fire pit in the evening was a romantic experience. In the morning we had a leisurely breakfast outside to enjoy the garden one last time. We would happily return any time.
